Pros +
- Quiet setting, within easy reach of the city?s major sights.
- Location was great, close to public transportation; staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
- This was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in. It's clean, was set in a lovely park, and the staff really went above and beyond to be friendly and helpful. The room also comes with binoculars whatever reason, but that was cool.
Cons -
- The staff is in dire need of some basic customer service training. Little to no attention to details.
- You couldn't raise the shade to use the binoculars during a certain time, as the shades have a timer on them. The shower, while sleek and modern, had very anemic water pressure so it took me forever to rinse all the shampoo out of my hair.
- Rooms small for 3 people for the $$. No door separating rooms

The hotel is in the middle of a large park, but restaurants are very close and walkable. Even better, public transit is close and will get you pretty much anywhere in the city.
The whole place was super nice. Our room was cute and clean. The bed was super comfortable, especially after long days out and about exploring Amsterdam. The location was excellent, a bit father out from everything, but Westerpark was a nice area to walk around, full of foliage and paths. It’s super close to a tram and bus station, so getting around is not a problem. It also allowed for a more peaceful stay when you were turning in for the night, which we loved. The staff was also so, so friendly and accommodating.
Nice location next to the park. Interesting building. Nicely remodeled.

Really clean room, complimentary bottle of Cava and box of brownies upon arrival, really comfy mattress and pillows, plenty of clean towels, great hot shower, beautiful windows and views, plenty of coat hangers, plenty of sockets, ample desk space, could not hear any other guests so the soundproofing must be good! Extra-large safe. Everything in the room just 'works'. Located in the Westerpark and there are a lot of restaurants, bars and shops within short walking distance; also quiet strolls in the beautiful park. The staff were all super-friendly, helpful and professional. This place is a serious find for me, as I spend a lot of time in Amsterdam for business. It's great value compared to other hotels.
It's very hard to find anything at all that I 'didn't like' about this hotel! If I was being really nit-picking, I'd say the bath towels could be larger, and the breakfast scrambled eggs could be hotter. But I'm really stretching to find something here...the place is fantastic.
Most of the staff were really friendly and kind, especially Ivan! The location was good for us as we liked walking places, however it is at least a 20 minute walk to anything you want to see. The park is very nice and there was a few coffee shops and restaurants nearby that were nice. The facilities were clean, the room was ready when we checked in early (we paid for early check in), and there were no issues with check out. Ivan even offered to post some postcards for me as we struggled to find a post box which was very kind. You get a free welcome drink which was nice also.
Its unfortunate that we have to mention a few things that weren't ideal as the staff were very kind and the stay was mostly fine, but for the price of the 3 nights we stayed here, the below issues were unexpected:There was one staff member on our last day of staying at the hotel who seemed to be covering from another sister hotel who was quite rude, but our interaction with her was limited so it didn't bother us too much! The rooms were cement floors throughout, they got quite slippery if you showered and were freezing cold on your feet. The pillows were very flat, not the usual fluffy hotel pillows you'd expect. The air conditioning did not work, we tried making it work a few times but without success, we woke up really hot multiple times so it felt like there was heating on as well when we didn't turn it on. The shower was a bit strange, the overhead water would only come out if the handheld water nozzle was on at the same time. The biggest downfall and the reason we won't stay here again is because of the noise from outside of the hotel. There is a club that opens at 11pm and doesn't close until 5am next door to the hotel. The music was so loud and people leaving the club could be heard all through the night. Our room faced the courtyard so if you have a room facing the park it might be okay. The rooms aren't sound proof at all, every time someone closed a door you could hear it, there was a baby next to our room crying, you could hear everything. We were on the 1st floor so maybe it would be better if you were higher up.
Welcome by reception, room and location.
Breakfast was not great. Lots of items were already gone by 9.30. When I asked about the scrambled eggs, the chef was very blunt and said he would have to make some and would take a while. He was not a happy person....Coffee also took ages to deliver and had to order at the bar.In short the breakfast was not worth the money.
I've stayed at this hotel a number of times as my boyfriend and I used to live in the neighborhood and we both still have to go to Amsterdam for work from time to time.
HORRIFIED by check in process, which has changed. Completely automated check in asks you to tell you which ID you are using to check in, but no one checks ID. Seems great for criminals and human trafficking--which Amsterdam has plenty of!!
Location (weed smell free), facilities ( relax atmosphere, high ceilings, clean and neat) personnel attention ( welcome treat, empathy)
Pets in the restaurant
The location is good but the bathroom is bad and the toilet is bad
The bathroom and the toilet is bad there is no bidet
The heated bathroom floors and free mini bar items were a nice treat.
A small mini refrigerator would be nice.
Beautiful location! Not too far from Amsterdam Central and close to the ferry to get to NDSM. We stumbled upon the Saturday market during our stay which was amazing. The staff were kind enough to check us in a bit early. We were given a room upgrade and a welcome drink.
It would have been great is there were USB sockets for charging.
The room was different, and felt very open being in the top floor within the roof of the building. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful.
Hotel located in a parc with pleasant green spaces. Nice trendy design. The hotel is not too big and keeps a personal touch.
Like most hotels in the Netherlands, room is not very clean.
Spacious room by far from the city center
Mold in bathroom. Mosquitos in the room.
The most beautiful hotel that I've ever been. Actually Ivan the receptionist guy was so friendly and cute. There are too many options in here like mini market on the hotel, rent a bicycle from the hotel lobby, enjoyable park in front of the hotel and more than all of things. So it was a awesome experience for us. I hope I'll come again.

Location was fantastic. In a beautiful park away but still close the center. Staff was lovely
Great location
I’m short and I couldn’t see out my window but fortunately the staff changed our room and all was good
