Pros +
- Clean, close to the metro and close to major attractions.
- Very friendly staff. The receptionist was fantastic! She was sweet and very positive! The waiter at the breakfast was also very friendly! Room was good as well. Not so big, but comfortable and the airco was good.
- The staff working at the hotel were very polite and they exceeded our expectations. From helping us to the cheapest way to the city center to helping us move around the town, and the prompt coffee every morning hahaThe rooms were clean and super comfortable. We even had access to the balcony, which I didn't expect to have. It was a nice surprise! The toilet is fancy. We had everything we needed: rolls, glasses, soaps, shampoo, and shower gel. We didn't need to buy anything. It felt safe staying here, and no one bothered us.
Cons -
- Nothing, all good!
- The first bad thing to keep in mind is simply the price. We stayed four nights, which was 740 Euros. This is a horrendous price, and we traveled around the globe, but this was probably the highest-paid hotel we stayed in. Considering this is not a city centre or fancy suite, this was a basic standard room. Also, to get to the city center, you must walk for around 40 minutes and even take a boat to the other side. The other important thing to keep in mind is that we were lucky with the other residents at the time. There was no soundproofing whatsoever, so every breath, step, and word was clearly heard from other rooms. As I said, we were lucky as all the noise got down around midnight, but if we had only one who didn't follow the rules, we would not have had a night of sleep. Would I revisit this place? Sure.Would I pay this price again, never! Should you pay this price? Absolutely not.
- Very strong smell, pubic hair on the shower walls

Decent location, the staff are so lovely, room was a bit small but perfect for short stays, had WiFi, tv , hairdryer and towels
Very strong smell, pubic hair on the shower walls
Fresh sheets, was clean and tidy.
very basic amenities. receptionist wasn’t very helpful or welcoming.
The air conditioner was super noisy for the whole night and day. We heard the noises from the corridor all the time from the gap under the door and it was difficult to sleep when drank people came back to the hotel after midnight. The shower was very very weak.
Not a great location - not walkable to city centre and lots of construction works around the hotel area. Room was too small and generally dull.
The receptionist is friendly and smiling. The location is far from the center and it is impossible to reach the center on foot, there is no walking path. We went to the central station by metro. We made the reservation knowing this already. There is much noise inside, always human noise and door slamming in the corridor. Doors have alarm system and when someone else's door opens and closes in the middle of the night, the alarm wakes you up from your sleep. The air conditioners are very loud, when someone else's air conditioner is on, it can be heard from the room. The price is reasonable according to Amsterdam conditions, but there is no comfort.
Friendly staff, really comfy bed
Window didn’t open in room
Plenty of space in the loft room.
The double bed was just 2 single beds pushed together.
Cheap place to stay with a comfy bed.
A little far out from Amsterdam and you can hear everything going on in the hallway
Amsterdam noord is a very nice place to stay if you want something different than the touristic center of Amsterdam! The hotel is located in a quiet area with so many choises to eat or drink or have a nice lazy day in front of the water or take a nice walk in the forest nearby!Hotel room was clean and comfortable!I had a very nice surprise also for my birthday!Staff was friendly helpful and kind.Overall positive experience!!!
Comfortable beds and it was good to have a tv in the room
The room was freezing. The air conditioner didn’t work properly, and it seemed like the filter hadn’t been cleaned in a while, which triggered my allergies the entire time I was there.
Due to the budget, we had to stick with this option. The staff was accommodating and very welcoming.
The room was much smaller than I expected. I guess the panoramic view has been used while taking photos of the room. We had a room for 4 people. Instead of 4 single beds, we had a twin bed and a couch. This was unfortunate, cause the description said 4 beds.
Stuff was very helpful and friendly. Arrived on NYE but not booked till the next day as they had no availability but as were traveling from England, they let us to use the bathroom and their breakfast room to have a warm drink and to arrange to make other plans.
Everything was perfect.
For the price I paid I wasn’t expecting anything incredible but I was actually really surprised when I arrived. I stayed in a loft room and it was very spacious, very clean, very modern & better than I imagined. Located just 5 minute walk away from the train station and one stop away from central, it really is a great place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of central.
The only negative is the double bed was 2 single mattresses together and I kept waking up in the middle of the 2 numerous times a night ?♀️
Good location Easy parking
Cleaness off the rooms floor, was sand on the floor and empty can under the bed
Me and my partner stayed here for 3nights4days, we enjoyed the hotel however the walls are quite thin and we can hear what’s going on in the hallway, wasn’t a big problem though. unfortunately the time that we went there was road works all outside the building, couldn’t hear it but had to walk and extra 5 mins or so to the metro station as it completely blocked the road. Best part was the transport to the centre. it took around 10 mins to get where we wanted to go using the metro which isn’t a long walk to get to at all. the transport is also really cheap doing tap on tap off. There is also a shell station if you want snacks just down the corner, if you’re looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful i do recommend here. the biggest issue for us was the loft room which i requested however the stairs to go to the bed are extremely thing and steep and you have to be very careful walking up and down them as there’s not much foot space to climb up on. other than that the staff were friendly, it was very clean, bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was fantastic as well as the heat.
Helpful staff , clean , good breakfast.
Too cold at some places at hotel . Loudy heater at room .
Location to metro is pretty good, but also a nice walk in decent weather to the free ferry, helped us walk of and clear heads.
The loft rooms are a bit unique very sharpLittle stairs, but the roomIs decent and bed comfortable all we needed.
