Unsuitable for human occupance

Carpet was torn off floor because of maintenance in progress. Probably mildew. Shower directly above toilet. no restaurants close

The location and price are great, which was the main reason for booking it. Its a small room with a very comfortabke bed and shower + toilett, but more than enough if you are in Amsterdam to focus on sightseeing.

The higyene was ok, it was far from dirty, but some of the stuff in the bathroom could be renewed

Absolutely amazing stay at this wonderful hotel and would 100% stay here again. - Location is amazing, away from the chaotic city centre but still central enough for easy taxi journeys and access via tram a few minutes walk away.- Room was a great size for 2 people. Single beds were so so so comfy and I had the best sleep ever! - After checkout I was able to stay in the communal area to wait until my flight and use the kettle for hot water. - Staff were really kind and there was a lovely welcoming feel at the hotel.

Only downside to the room was the toilet and shower in same cubicle, meaning toilet paper would get wet and you would need to wear shoes if you need to use the WC. To avoid wet paper and wet shoes across the carpet, we would use only the shower in the room and use the shared toilet at the end of the hallway instead. They also change towels daily which we felt was not necessary for a 2 night stay and feel it would be more eco friendly and beneficial to change towels upon request.

Beds are too small and uncomfortable, washbasin was in the room very difficult to use. Wash rooms are very very tiny

Excellent service, staff were incredibly kind, patient and accommodating. The beds were super comfortable and the rooms were very clean. Location is great, we walked to town daily but there's also trams just outside.

Nothing to complain, we had a wonderful stay.

The manager was very friendly and made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The room was small but clean and the bed was comfortable.

I knew the bathroom was shared because I was in a single room so it wasn't a big deal. But next time I stay ill book a double and enjoy having my own.

The room was clean, TV and internet worked and the person working there was friendly. A nice park was just opposite the hotel. OK public transport nearby.

Not very professional setting, there was no Hotel feel more a B&B without breakfast. The place looked tired and a bit back house vibes. Mess in the reception area with piles of towels (not sure if clean or dirty) coffee was instant coffee or tea for $2. We didn't even see cups or milk or sugar.Parking wasn't nearby - there is only a very expensive park and ride about 4km away. No shops in close proximity.

The shared shower is awful. Having to go to a different floor it is inconvenient, it smelled like black mold, no room to put your things, and you have to stand on a weird plastic board when you shower. Low quality curtain and one of those taps where you have to mix hot and cold yourself which is always bad. I was also very itchy after staying two nights! Mosquito's and possibly bedbugs.

I stayed at this hostel a couple of months ago and unfortunately, the experience didn’t meet expectations — especially considering the price (100€ per night for a very basic room). The room was tiny, with only two beds, an old sink, a small bedside table, and a mirror. The shared toilet and shower were not very clean and felt quite run-down.However, I do want to highlight that the receptionist was friendly and welcoming, which made the check-in experience a little more pleasant. Still, for the price, the overall condition and cleanliness were really disappointing. I hope the management considers some improvements, as the location and staff have potential!

The location was ideal for tourism. The staff was really helpful and professional. Furthermore, the room was so clean.

Location is close to the tram, the staff was very kind and room was clean and comfortable. There is a common kitchen with refrigerator and kettle where you can have your own breakfast and feel like at home. Overall it exceeded our expectation considering cost of hotel with private bathroom in Amsterdam.

It was decent accomodation. Only the basic stuff, but things were clean. Nothing too fancy, good place just to sleep at night.

The sink was not in the bathroom. The staircase was very narrow but that is probably because of the old-style building.
