    Pros +

    • The bathrooms are incredible, very close to train station.
    • Location is right off of metro line. It was also near what became one of my favorite restaurants. The hotel was busy, full of guests. It was inexpensive. The elevators were pretty quick. The breakfast was OK. The overall design of the room was OK. A block away from Ikea, if you need to pick something up there. 15 minutes by foot from a couple of supermarkets.
    • Nice spacious room.

    Cons -

    • What didn't I like? Someone smoking marijuana in a room near mine, so that the odor wafted in. The cockroach in my bed. The some kind of other bug in my bathroom. The impossible-to-find light switches when you first come in, and the lights have been left off. The room not being vacuumed. The room heat being off when I was out of the room, making the room start out cold when I returned for the evening, but end up roasting in the middle of the night. The mattress that slides a little off the bed each time you get in or out, hitting one of the light switches by the bed, turning it on or off. The lack of indication if the two different coffee pods were either decaf or normal. The lack of light at the coffee machine. The lack of light at the bathroom mirror on your face, making it very difficult to shave (and, I imagine, put on makeup). The shower that leaked into a large puddle every time you used it, because of a design flaw in the door. The bedding that wasn't changed over the four nights I was there, including yellowed pillow cases that should have been replaced long ago. The lighting that was absolutely terrible at the desk to work, and especially bad for a zoom call I had to take. Breakfast started only at 7 AM, meaning the two of the four mornings I was there and needed to get out earlier, I had to find my own, and there are no bakeries or cafes in the area.
    • My passport was stolen out of my room. When I told the staff they were in denial about an employee or anyone else stealing anything. They kept telling me maybe I lost it instead of giving me any information about who had access to my room. Staff were all rude. None were willing to help me. When I said I wanted to file a report against the hotel there was not information giving about that. No one gave me their names.
    • AC was not that cold.

Proximity to metro station. Bathroom amenities are high quality.

The coffee machine water tank was leaking. The cleaning staff got too late to the room. It was around 6pm, the room still left unattended.

    7KwabenaPosted on: 1-19-2026

    Nothing much really

No microwave or iron in the rooms. Had to go down to reheat my food and iron my shirt

The hotel is divided into 2 buildings.Easy check-in and check-out, can be done at self service counters. The beds, towels, surfaces were clean. The bathroom and the shower were great.A 5 minute walk to the nereast metro stop, 15-17 minutes to the city centre.

The area around the hotel has roadwork going on, so it is a bit confusing getting there. The bathroom could use some hooks mounted to the wall.

    * Free luggage storage. I can still store my after checkout* 5min walking to metro

    * This was not the problem of the hotel. The path from metro to the hotel was in construction. I went to the wrong path, then it took me more than 10min to correct my route.* I could hear footsteps from the upper floor. Thankfully, it was not really noisy, and was not very frequent

    10VitaliyPosted on: 12-6-2025

A spacious triple room. Breakfast offers a good selection of dishes. The location is convenient—the city center is a 20-minute drive away.

    10AtanasPosted on: 12-5-2025

Excellent hotel. Extremely clean, including the bathroom (something I really like), with very good heat and noise insulation. Check-in is very easy and can be done digitally. The metro stop is 5 minutes away and it takes 25 minutes to get to the city center. There are many restaurants, a cinema and LIDL within a 15-minute walk. There is an IKEA right next to the hotel, you can eat there. If we visit Amsterdam again, we will stay here again.

I got an upgrade on the room. The price was really good for what I got, the location is good if you plan on going on a concert at AFAS Live and the staff was really friendly.

I got nothing bad to say.

The hotel is very quit. The breakfast is diverse but every day the same

One day, the room service left the door open after cleaning. Thanks God nothing missing.

The hotel is absolutely amazing, beds are super comfortable, it's clean and quiet. Metro is within 5min walk, while train is around 15min, and there's an area with bars and restaurants.

    10DmitryPosted on: 11-1-2025

Kinda far from the city center, but it's just 5-10 minutes walk to a metro station that lets you reach the city center without changing the line. The hotel is very modern, room was clean, city view is great.Breakfast was okay, good variety and overall quality for money. Can't really complain about anything.

Behavior of the front staff felt a bit rude when we took a little while to figure how to use the automated check in system. The system itself is great, but it was the first time I encounter such things in hotels so... That "it's so easy why aren't you familiar with it yet" attitude didn't feel so great.

The room was very nice and the facilities very good. The buffet breakfast was first class and the price was OK for Amsterdam. The metro station is a 5 minute walk away and went to central Amsterdam in 15 minutes or so; easy connections to all parts of Amsterdam.

There is ongoing road and underground utility construction around the hotel. I arrived late evening. The walking route to the hotel was near impossible to follow on Google maps and there was no directional signage, no lights and the temporary walkways were difficult to navigate with my one heavy bag. What should have been a 5 minute walk turned into a 20 minute stumble around until I got directions from a receptionist in a neighboring hotel. The location was bare of restaurants; just one nearby and the kitchen had closed; the staff was nice enough to put together a meal for me. There are no other stores where you could obtain any needed tourist necessary items. Finally, and curiously for such a nicely appointed room, there was NO LIGHT over the bathroom mirror for shaving or make up.
