The kettle was broken by one of the hostel users during my stay which was quite annoying

The beds make noise, the door lock doesn't open properly, I didn't feel safe, there are only 2 toilets for 10 rooms

Place is great, wonderful atmosphere, easy to come in contact with people, or stay for yourself if you prefer so. Cleanness was exceptionally good, everything was cleaned well and often. Grocery store is nearby, as well as train station and tram stop. I would definitely stay there if I go to Amsterdam again.

I stayed for 10 days at dutchies hostel being a solo female traveler I felt quite ease staying at the hostel, staff was very friendly the set up felt like home to me, very clean hostel spectacular service. Staff is always friendly and willing to help with general enquiries I'll definitely book with them again.

The hostel had all the basics, 24 h reception, a lidl right at the entrance. It served the purpose I needed.

I went during summer and they did not have the AC on in the room. There was a small fan in the capsule but it's not nearly enough to relieve the summer heat. Price was quite high for a hostel

Bad location, bathrooms were good except the garbage cans were very small no they were full all the time and they were not changed regularly

I liked that they store your bags for free and that they have a lot public chill space. The showers were also a decent size as well as the kitchen.

Everywhere was always dirty. The bed I was given had leftover hair and dead skin and crumbs from the last person. The pillow and sheets were also the same as the bed. There are male staff walking into the girls shower bathroom without knocking and rudely saying you have 5 mins I need to mop and other male staff rudely telling me the door lock code was changed after I was concerned as to why I couldn't get into my room anymore.

Very clean and friendly and helpful

The hostel was well-equipped with anything you may need, and it is extremely social, making it ideal for solo travelers wanting to meet some people. It’s close enough to public tranport and has some very helpful shops in the surrounding area.

It very much depends on your room, unfortunately. For most of the nights, we slept well and enjoyed our stay. But some nights, especially our first night, some people came into the room drunk and started arguing with other people in the room, switching on the light and having no disregard for others at 3 AM in the morning.

I had a really nice stay at this hostel. Everything was clean and well taken care of – the rooms, sheets, and bathrooms were all very tidy. The staff were kind and helpful, always ready to assist if I needed anything. There were also some great facilities for guests, which made the stay more comfortable. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I’d be happy to stay here again.

Super convenient with the market in front and the kitchen with everything. So many cool volunteers too.

They were out of flip flops

I liked how friendly the staff was and the vibe right when you walk through the doors. The facilities were so much better than previous places stayed at. The whole entire place was clean and inviting.

The rooms got a little warm during the night, and with being on the first floor, we could not open the windows due to signs saying not to for safety. The bed felt a little slanted when sleeping, felt like I was going to roll off. And lastly but unavoidable, just some roommates not respecting quiet time and sleeping.

The staff are very friendly and helpful! Had a great time here and it feels like I'm at home. Special tanks to Mira, Leon, Kiara and the rest of the staff for making it a good stay

The room and bathrooms were very clean. People were very polite and I have no issues with the other guests. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean it was.

They told me that I could share a room with just girls but there ended up being 4 other guys in my room. I paid more than 100 dollars for one night. I expected better.

People was entering and exiting from room and it was noisy. There was a party outside after 11 pmAlso bathroom was very hot.
