Pros +
- The lobby
- We liked the view of the street, that's about it.
- Beautiful lobby and great costumer service.
Cons -
- The room was bit dirty with feet marks in the floor from past guests, the shower was also dirty with some hair and mold on the bathroom wall which made that very unpleasant when showering.
- The bathroom was tiny, the windows didn't have a screen so if I opened the window for it to cool down the room, bugs were flying in. The room had an open closet which doesn't look very nice. The place is 100% not Air conditioned, and on a hot weekend 96 degrees, it was a terrible place to stay. We had to leave the next day to a different hotel that offered a nicer room with AC.
- The room was very small! Tiny.

Beautiful lobby and great costumer service.
The room was very small! Tiny.
The staff are beyond helpful and and they truly try to help you. Amazing staff
Most of the rooms are run down, so tiny and look onto the back building. I had to upgrade and switch room to find a normal room. And that was very nice
Great hotel in Amsterdam! Very comfortable accommodation with a very good breakfast! Very well located.
Anything
Nothing, staff was rude, it was very very dirty and dark
Location and stuff
The room was DIRTY, the bathroom had a bad smell, there was no elevator and no conditioning. I don’t think I will ever come back here again.
It was close to tramlines to the centre and the Rijksmuseum. The staff, including Simon from Sardinia, were very helpful. It was useful that we received a tip over the internet from the hotel to upgrade our room as there were some very dark basement rooms. The breakfast was good.
The colour scheme of the rooms was a bit gloomy. Lighted walls would give a better impression.
The working staff was good, they storage my luggage before checking in and out
No air conditioning, it was very hot in the room there was a small window and room was in the basement
Room size, room amenities
Cleanliness (mold in the bathrooms), no elevator (for heavy luggage)
The entrance was beautiful
We were given the “attic closet” room, up two very steep and winding staircases in the building behind the nice one. Entrance was a black hallway, poorly lit, could hear everything, and the two of us couldn’t even walk in the room at the same time it was so small! My daughter had to crawl over me to use the bathroom and no storage - it was literally the attic and seemed to be the size of a camper bedroom. Super disappointing it costed the same as a regular room.
Location, friendly staff
The shower drain was blocked, the issue remained unsolved despite the fact that it was addressed several times
Nice location, quiet and close to everything. Staff is friendly and helpful
The size of rooms but it’s normal for Amsterdam.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they always had a smile and advice about travel etc The bed was really comfortable.
The hotel wasn't clean enough. It looked like the corridors and stairways hadn't been hoovered in a long time and my room had chips and marks over the walls and the flooring was shabby. The open cupboard looked like a cheap MDF unit with no hang space for suits or dresses and the "desk" was too high up to use with any of the chairs. Bathroom was ok. The room was tiny - I didn't mind that because I was only there for a night but there was nowhere to store my overnight bag so if you were staying for longer than 1 night you'd be better off somewhere else.
Location was perfect
Our room was very noisy ! We can hear the neighbors talking and people on the road chatting at any time of the day. We got Fresh towels everyday . However we spend 6 nights in the hotel and the bedsheets were not changed once!
The location
Everything else. No ac, very dirty, no fridge no slippers
Charming entrance, good location, amazing staff
Room a bit small but its okay for solo traveling
Good size room for 2 people, big windows, comfy bed. Bathroom small but well kept and nice communal areas. Staff were all very lovely. Hotel right outside tram stop so convenient.
Room was on smaller side, bathroom small. Not in the center at all, 25 mins tram / 35 min walk. Rooms fine but quite noisy, walls very thin!
Do not stay here
The floors are as if you are staying in a garage, no door to the shower, and the cleaning staff constantly are banging the doors and we were not able to sleep. This was way over prices for what we got it.
Lovely staff
Room was up steep stairs, no help with luggage, no lift, and really basic for the price.
