Pros +
- Should be rated at least a 3 to 3.5 star hotel. Very stylish, clean, good location for sights/food/Amsterdam Centraal Station. They provide to your room fruit/coffee/meats/cheese and fresh bread everyday for next days breakfast. Highly recommend!
- Very well connected. Friendly staff
- Large room. Nice bed. Nice sheets. Quiet. Complimentary cookies and wine. :) Good info for tourists
Cons -
- Because its a good location there is lots of activity and some noise. I have a white noise app on phone that I use at night to drowned out noise. A couple of times I heard some noise but nothing to stop me from going back to sleep.
- They originally assigned me a room on the 4th floor without elevator. Impossible for me. But they had a free room in the basement which was more easily accessible and very large. So all good in the end.
- I didn't realize there was no elevator. I had a very heavy suitcase and I was on the 3rd floor. There should be a warning when you book. Need a ramp to the entrance. I used the chat feature and never got a response.

The room was very spacious.
It's very noisy up until 3-4 a.m., and it's hard to sleep. We were told because of the concert hall nearby. This is the reason for the overall rating.
The location is excellent! Never too far away from anything and the airport 397 bus brings you right into the main intersection of the hotel which is extremely convenient. The hotel staff are very lovely and the room was a lot nicer in person vs. the pictures. The room was very large and comfortable. I would def recommend this place 100%.
There are a few things that are not specific to this hotel but Amsterdam. The narrow staircase leading up to the room was a little insane and there is no fan in the bathroom so smells linger multi-days. The bar outside goes all night but the windows are sound proof. However, I was warm so I had to decide between the noise or using the fan. The other thing is I needed assistance after 7 and you need to call them which isn’t convenient for travelers, majority use wi-fi or data so turning on my international phone for one phone call was annoying.
Walking distance to groceries, restaurants and stores; kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker, kettle and fridge
No elevators which is common in the area.
Location, close to center
A lot of street noise in the area, no air conditioning, just a ceiling fan(noisy as well), very steep stairs...if you have difficulty walking or climbing you will have serious problems
Location was great. Nice big room. Comfortable bed.
Electric points for microwave and fridge were not working. Stairs were very steep.Television had no channels.
Location was perfect. Very close to center and Vondelpark. The tram was across the street. It was the biggest room and bathroom I have seen in Amsterdam including several chain hotels I previously stayed in.
There was no shower curtain or a threshold to hold the shower water, so we definetely needed flipflops to use in the bathroom.
Friendly and helpful staff!! They arranged for my luggage to be carried to my room (thank heavens!). Very organised hotel, great communication! They can also make some great recommendations for nearby places that you can visit! They'll also keep your luggage for you, pre/post check-in/out, which is actually quite helpful. I'd definitely stay at Weber's the next time I'm in Amsterdam!
I think as a foreigner, who was totally unaware of the unique design of Dutch staircases, I think it would have been helpful to be given some forewarning about how vertical/steep they are (I was on the 4th floor). If youre a novice at climbing these architectural wonders, my advice would be to ask for help; be sure to grab onto the handrails; and if it comes to it, let go of your luggage and let it fall down the staircase! Better the luggage fall, than you!!
What I liked:•Everything was great!•The staff was very friendly and accommodating.•The location is excellent—very close to public transport and easily accessible to the city center. You can even walk there.•The area around the hotel is beautiful and pleasant to explore. What I didn’t like:•The only downside was the stairs I had to climb to reach the 4th floor. They were a bit intimidating, but it wasn’t a major issue in the end.
Bad
A RIPOFF at that price. No reception after 7pm. Three hallucinating nights in a tiny room, no furniture and the toilet so small, that everything, repeat everything could be done only standing up. I’m wondering how the civic authorities allow such a setup to operate. Absolutely to avoid, even a park bench would beat this..hands down.
Great location within the city - everything is walkable, lots of lovely bars and restaurants close by. Room was a good size - bigger than expected, and well equipped. Staff very helpful on check in/out.
The location is just very noisy. Earplugs are provided, but the bar below (we were in room 18) is open until 3am every night and can be loud - though they do a lovely palomita! If you're a light sleeper, you might want to look elsewhere.
Great locationGreat spacious roomComfy bed
The very steep stairs ??
Room was clean and spacious
Noise until 3 am from downstairs bar
Great location, great and helpful staff. Very comfortable bed and pillows. It’s very nice having Smart TV and a coffee machine. The experience with the traditional dutch stairs was very curious and nice but be careful if you’re carrying a lot of luggage. We’ll definitely be coming back on our next visit to Amsterdam.
Just I don’t give a 10 because it was a bit noisy despite we were staying at the top floor. The building may need a bit of isolation, nevertheless they provide you earplugs which is a plus.
Very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. Great location.
Location, spacious
Stairs, some noise, heating
Large room, good position, comfortable bed, good value for money
Great location. Close to public transport. Clean room .staff super helpful and friendly.
