Location is excellent and staff was informative and nice.

Great location, room is small but ok, facilities was ok, staff was very good avaliable and educated. Bulgarian guy at reception was very nice and helpful.

Stairs was a real challenge.

The room was cold because the warming was broke And the stairs are really bad and i was staying on the 4th floor with my 2 traviling bag and no obe ask me for helpI didnt enjoy it at allNever go back again to this hotel

perfect location, "Beurs van Berlage Damrak 243" (conference location) is directly across the streetno wifi problemsgerman and english tv channelsnoise was ok, i am quite sensitive but the noise level was ok. at booking time i requested a quiet room, they put me into a room to the side but told me as the hotel is at the main road there is no real silence. it was not silent but very ok. other people in the hotel where also quiet, no noise from rooms next to me (luck?)

You cannot beat this location.

The narrow stairs with no elevator is not a problem for me.Small room with no kettle or small refrigerator is not problem for me.WiFi singnal is only available at the reception area, once you reached your room the signal is gone.It is now winter time, there was hardly any heat in this room despite of the heater turned to max. The heater was very weak. I was leaning against it and I only feel a tiny bit of warmth coming out of it. I was freezing and had to sleep with sweater trousers and socks full clothes on.There is no aircon either so, I guess I cannot win this place in either summer or winter.For 197 euro a night for a 9 sqm size room. I at least want the inside temperature to be warmer than the outside.

The location is so nice! Just beside the main street. You can have anything you want just by going out. Nice room with private bathroom at a reasonable price.

The ventilator of the bathroom was not good, so it smelled a little bit; they could have provided some room freshener for the bathroom to get rid of bad smells.

I knew there were stairs and no lift before booking so can’t complain. The stairs are really steep and narrow so ask for a lower floor when booking.

The location was first rate being in the city centre and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was great with comfy beds and a shower with good pressure.

The steep stairs but this is a feature of Amsterdam's historic buildings and I have learnt to accept.

Absolutely nothing it is an terrible rathole, the stairs in it are shocking, you will be claiming medical insurance in the blink of an eye. If you have a large suitcase do not under any circumstances go there, just getting to the receptionist will put your back out. Try finding the front door from the street is a needle in a haystack, it’s a small sign on a single door and that shows how cheap they are, can’t even advertise properly. If there was a fire you have no chance getting out, just get ready to die in the rathole,just stay away for your own life protection
