Location, Location, Location! We walked *everywhere*! The staff were super too.

With no AC, the room was too hot (July travel). We had the window open and the fan running 24/7 to try to keep the room cool so we could sleep at night. I'm sure the rooms would be comfortable temperature other times of the year.

The hotel staff was very nice and informative.

No A/C¿room was hot and the window only opened 2¿ at the top. No electrical plugs¿you had to use a power strip on the desk to charge phones & cameras. No mini fridge¿so much for a cold soda or water when you¿re in for the night.

The room was very big by European standards. Great view from all the windows. Bathroom small but clean and included a bath tub! Price was very reasonable for what we got. Breakfast was included, good spread with a nice view of the outside patio.

My husband didn't really like that they wanted us to give key to desk person each time we went out but didn't bother me. I think this is done to cut down on the loss of keys and multiple people having keys to room.

Excellent breakfast with many choices.

Front rooms can be noisy at night on weekend.

Staff was very welcoming and eager to answer any questions we had.

Heat worked - too well! I know it comes with the territory and the systems used but really wish the heat could have been better regulated. Found ourselves waking in the middle of the night to crack a window and let in the 25 degree air.

Location and breakfast

The room we booked was small. It we did book the cheapest room No refund and no breakfast paid for breakfast and it was worth it.

Hotel is close and within walking distance of main attractions in Amsterdam. Staff was helpful. Room was clean.

Decoration in the room could improve

The location is excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. There was no noise from outside the hotel: no traffic or street noise.

The bathroom was very cold (in February), because it didn't have a radiator and the water was not very hot. The bedroom walls were thin: at night you could hear snoring from adjoining rooms.

Excellent location on a quiet residential street but just around the corner from a tram and bus stop making connections to centre and elsewhere very easy. You are in the museum quarter and can walk to Rijksmuseum in 5 mins. There is a nearby linear park if you like a morning or evening run. Cafes, bars restaurants, main shopping street all very close by.This hotel is 3-star. My room was basically furnished, very clean and comfortable. I was out all day and most evenings so this hotel was an ideal base for me. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

Great location. The staff was helpful, check in and check out was easy. The room was big enough. Depending on the price, would definitely stay again.

Would be nice to have a fridge in the room.

Loved Basil the cat! Nice cosy guesthouse in great location (I just took bus from airport) near galleries and concert hall. Staff very friendly, would return.

Some people may find it a bit compact? Fine for me though.

hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood, next to bus 397 station (easy to reach airport). It is a very good alternative to similar price hotels in more crowded areas.Room was properly heated, bathroom and lavatory were clean. The bed was confortable although small (single room).Food variety seemed small, but it had what is expected for a breakfast.

I actually liked this stay, but wished for a water heater (for tea, cofee) in the room.

Nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood close to the center. The room is small but it has everything you need for a short stay. The staff is helpful and friendly. They changed our towels two times for our three night stay.

The staff is top tier and the hotel itself is super comfortable and very easy to find. The room was quiet and perfect size for Amsterdam standards.

We had a family room (2 adults with 2 adult children: 18 and 20 years old) and we are all tall people. The room had a lot of space. It is very close to Vondelpark and Leidseplein. Leidseplein is a wonderful and lively place with lots of restaurants street food, ice rink (we were there in winter) and shopping. We were close to the tram stop. It is just far enough to eliminate the night life noises, but still close enough for a 10 min walk to most amenities. The staff was wonderful, welcoming and going out of their way to make our stay a happy and convenient one. We will definitely stay here again. PS: Our children really liked having the cat, Basil (Faulty) around.

We would have liked a bar fridge in the room (although leaving drinks on the window ledge outside during the night did the trick! Lol.) We would also have liked coffee and tea facilities in our room. Both of these did not make our stay bad at all.
