- great location, friendly and helpful staff, good value for the money...
Cons -
- Rude, aggressive, and unhelpful staff Dirty and old rooms. Almost 70 stairs without any luggage services No shampoo was provided The bathroom was inside the room but the WC was outside and shared with other rooms
- The stairs the stairs I'm having nightmares about stairs, I think halfway up the stairs their should be a poster saying..... you've got this. You're doing fine. Don't give up now. You're almost there because their have been some times when I thought, do you know something I'm done?
- no towers, not clean, no bathroom in the room, to many stars

There was a sink but no TV in the room but you don't go on holiday to sit in your hotel room to watch TV you've got a whole town to explore but make sure you've got some comfortable shoes because the walking is a killer. When you leave, you have to drop off your key on the hotel desk, and when you get back, your key will be waiting. Good area, I like the sound of the church bells

the staff was very nice but rhetorical hotel its terrible
no towers, not clean, no bathroom in the room, to many stars
It's cheap private and in the right place
Great location, nice staff. The room is what it is. The stair case going upstairs was daunting with a heavy bag, but the check in gentlemen was friendly to help us out.
Stairs, too many.
Good location in historic building. Appreciated having my own shower and sink
A bit shabby, but good value for money. Shared toilets arent my favorite, but for a quick night stay its ok.
Very close to the Anne Frank House. Near food and bars and the staff were all awesome.
It didn’t bother me, but the stairs will bother some. They are steep and fairly long.
Not much…!!!Location wasn’t too bad…although all kinds of street. work going on out front…very noisy.
Place should be listed as a “hostel”.Place was a dump to be frank and honest. Stairs were a NIGHTMARE. Had a room with a shower and toilet. No towels in the bath..a room for 3 people. Had to ask for towels and they had only 2 when I asked. Soap in bath was liquid dish washing stuff. Toilet paper was just loose…not on a hanger. Room had zippo furnishings. Double and single bed. Had to leave window open at night for air. Guys at the desk could not really provide any help with most questions. Stay somewhere else. And to make matters worse, it was Sail 2025 so I paid over $825 for 3 nights at this DUMP.
Staff helpful and friendly. Close to everything you need. Value for money considering it's location.
If I had to say anything it would be that the stairs when your drunk or otherwise are a killer to get up, and don't expect the Ritz Carlton , this is a budget friendly hotel with a separate toilet and separate shower room. It does a job and did it well.
It's central Amsterdam.
The flights of stairs. Not a fan of that. I think I also got bitten by something. As I have come out in a rash.
Location. Friendly staff.
There may not be a closet for clothes, storage is limited, and it gets very hot around noon. Towels aren’t changed daily—you need to request it.
The location, the proximity to everything!
The bed (wasn’t comfortable) and the shower. But was okey!
Beds were very comfortable, the location is very central and a lot of nice things around. And the price is ok.
There was no shampoo or body wash in the shower. You had to give the key to reception before you head out. It can be a bit noisy
I would say the only good thing about this place is the location.
Where do I begin… first, it’s an old building so I expected the stairs. I don’t usually mind them but this one has a lot or stairs and they’re very narrow so definitely hold on to the handle when going up and down. They gave me the room at the very top, tbh, it’s feels like a prison room lol of how small it is and it didn’t match to the photos they provided on booking.com. It was so hot, so definitely do not recommend this place during the summer or else you will die. Next issue is the outlet, there’s only one in the room and literally by the door so you need to have a very long wire charger if you wanna your phone or other devices. The worst part of this hotel is that the room is definitely not clean. Lots of smudges on the wall and the carpet is definitely dirty. I don’t think they steam the carpet probably just vacuum it. So pls bring a sandals, don’t go barefoot. Ohh another thing, the pillow case is color yellow, I didn’t trust it so I used one of my tshirt as a pillow case, there’s no way I’m gonna put my face on it. Also the comforter also has stains on them which is kinda gross. They could definitely invest on newer bedsheets and towels. Here’s the interesting part, after staying for 3 days here, I’ve got multiple red marks all over my body that are very itchy. I don’t think it’s mosquito bites because I got some on my back so guess it’s only bedbugs right? It’s really annoying cuz it’s very itchy and I keep ending up scratching them :(.
Location is amazing, close to most of the sightsThe reception administrator is friendly and always helpful
Shared bathroom, you can hear everything happening outside your room, it is hard to sleep
This place needs an elevator or at least to mention how many stairs one has to take to get up to the reception!!! It's awful. Nearly 30 steps to get up. Other passengers made lots of loud noises in their rooms disturbing others..
I like the neighborhood
Nothing was awful shouldn’t even be a hotel
Scolding hot water coming out of the shower Dirty room Charging me extraMany more to count
Room was different from the picture. Broken sink. Broken electrical outlet. Broken light. Shared bathroom even if we booked a room with a private bathroom. Worst experience ever
