Pros +
- Location
- The hotel is located near the Vondelpark at the heart of the city. You can reach any major cite/location within 5-10min by bus or tram. The staff were incredibly attentive and did their best to make our stay enjoyable. We arrived on a frosty winter day. The room was pre-heated for our arrival—very thoughtful touch. The room was comfortably decorated, also with a huge framed copy of Rembrandts “The Night Watch” hanging over our beds. How fitting!
- The location was the only positive thing.
Cons -
- The power went out on two different days for several hours, staff was not helpful or accommodating. Housekeeping in the room was only done once during an 8day stay despite requesting it for several days
- A more inexpensive breakfast option would be a fantastic improvement.
- We booked 2 rooms for 4 nights., we arrived on December 24. To start with, we did not get the rooms we requested via email, the 2 rooms were not in the same building or close to each other. One room was in the main building, and the other was in the garden area. The one in the garden area was very cold, the heating was not working properly. We told the receptionist, she was very polite, she came to the room, agknowledged that the heating was not working, but could not solve the problem immediately. She brought an extra heater on the 3rd night after we had frozen for 2 nights. When we emailed that management, they replied late, after we checked out, that the heating was working but we were unlucky that it was a very cold season.

The hotel staff are lovely, and the hotel is quiet. Its in a great location, only a few minutes walk to the tram stop. Its good value for money. The room was a good size with a nice view.
If you have twin beds, they are very narrow. The room was quite hot, but you can fully open the window. At night its a little noisy outside, which is to be expected as you are quite central.
The location of the hotel is truly fantastic; being within walking distance of everywhere was a huge advantage for us. The cleanliness of the rooms was quite satisfactory, and we felt right at home. We would like to thank the entire team for being so helpful and solution-oriented throughout our stay, especially Alperen, who truly made our holiday better with his great attitude. We will definitely choose this place again and recommend it to all our friends!
The location is great, near the center but in a quiet street. The staff is very friendly.
My single room was quite narrow. At the ceiling at the bathroom was very low. I was in the too flow.
Great location, beds were confortable and the terrace is nice addition
The bathroom could use more utilities but it works for 3 days (although I would recommend to bring at least your own shampoo and conditioner)
The hotel is in a decent location.
- tiny, rooms. Barely space to turn around and place your suitcase. The only place where I could place it was in the way of the bathroom door- very low ceiling in the bathroom - I'm 5'9 and my head was touching the ceiling while I was in the shower- although the place has an elevator, it doesn't go to the last, attic level. I had to lug heavy luggage up the stairs- very hot (attic room), the fan in the room doesn't do much. Rooms don't come with AC- have to climb stairs to even get to the receptionNot worth the money.
The location was very good. Next time, I would prefer the standard rooms.
The garden-level independent rooms are quite small and not very comfortable.
Breakfast was good, location great, free coffee available around the clock, and a lovely patio outside
Rooms were really small and did not have much in the way of amenities
Very nice personal, and very nice breakfast Very beautiful hotel from outside and in the reception area with New Year tree
My room was zero floor Noice from the streetAnd room was like a shelter
Great location, very helpful staff, terrific instructions.
Very good location! It’s within walking distance to the city center, but the area was quiet, so I slept well at night.
The bathroom was absolutely freezing. I’ve never stayed at a hotel in Europe that didn’t have air conditioning in the bathroom.
Location and the staff was helpful
The room smell mold
Great stay! The hotel is very well located, close to major attractions and public transport. The staff were extremely warm, friendly, and always helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
We had a great time in this hotel. The staff is lovely and very helpful. The room was super clean, like the rest of the hotel. The location is great, we did everything by walking. I recommend 100%
The location was fantastic, nestled in a lovely area with a charming building that immediately caught my eye. The staff were incredibly friendly, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived.
This charming, slightly weathered building may not be the newest gem around, but it offers great value for your money. Its unique character and cozy vibe make it a delightful choice for those seeking a budget-friendly stay!
Good location, staff were really helpful on check in and happy for us to leave luggage there whilst waiting for our train home. Hotel room was clean and had all the essentials
Very minor, but there are no hot drink facilities within the room and you are not allowed to take up cups/mugs from downstairs coffee machine.
Loved the feelWonderful common area. Beautiful patioNice breakfast
Room was on the street where people were co greeting and noisy
Second time I stayed here and it was perfect…very clean, super friendly staff, super comfy bed, great location and good free coffee hahaWill stay here again, for sure!
