Hotel Artemis Amsterdam

Helpful staff, comfortable and clean rooms. well equipped rooms: nespresso coffie machine, iron in the room, icecube maker in the corridor. Great buffet, good restaurant.

The restaurant was closed on Saturday evening, which is a pity, since we wanted to eat there again, after a super dinner the evening before.

The design, the size of the bed, and the size of the room.

The room was very Dusty and dirty. The creamers for the coffee were opened and only one sealed. Only 2 packs of tea. But the main concern was the dust in the room. Because the bathroom door couldn't close, the cold air entered and it was a little uncomfortable.

Around 10 mins to tram stop to centre which was convenient. Nice breakfast and reception area. The beds are quite comfy.

Banging and drilling from builders woke us up every morning. Only one lift was working so had to wait a long time for the lift. There was a brown stain on my mattress which wasn’t nice. Luggage store not secure and staff let you in without checking your ticket, so not very secure

Disappointing

Renovation work going on. Wasn't told prior visit. Very noisy and not relaxing.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.The hotel is very spacious and clean, with large and comfortable rooms. Everything was well maintained, and housekeeping was excellent throughout our stay.The staff were extremely polite, friendly, and helpful, which made a very good impression. Breakfast was quite good, with a decent selection.The location is convenient: the hotel is close to a public transport stop with easy and direct connections to the city center, which was very important for us.Overall, we were very satisfied with the hotel and would gladly stay here again.One small note: check-in officially starts at 3:00 PM, and early check-in is possible, but it requires an additional fee of €15.

Atrocious

Truly atrocious stay and experience - really a dirty and unhealthy hotel with incompetent staffs. Also, the hotel was under heavy reconstruction during my stay (they say a month or so of work) which resulted in extremely heavy sounds that were dangerous to the ears and made the experience even more insufferable (the work started extremely early in the morning). I’m glad it was only one night.

The beds were very comfortable, and the staff was super helpful in making sure our stay was a special one. The facilities were clean, and the bath was very comfortable.

The location is a bit far from the center, but it is still well connected and I imagine it is ideal when coming from the airport.

Huge noise in building due construction. Nobody inform us in advance about it.Problematic elevator (one out of order). Expensive parking 25€/day.

It was a comfortable room. We had a twin room which was only because we booked last minute and was all that was available at our budget, but it was really nice. We had dinner one night in the hotel and it was really tasty. It's quite a way out of the city, but the number 2 tram stop is close by and a really scenic ride.

I think the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. I think breakfast was very overpriced, but there is a Spar just a minute away and you can get hot, fresh snacks in there for far less.

There was construction work and the hotel floors looked like murder scenes - wrapped in plastic. I was staying there as I needed to attend a conference and the hotel was fully booked due to it. One day I went back to the hotel earlier to rest before a customer dinner and actually I couldn’t because there was constant noise due to the construction which sounded as if they were breaking walls. The room was shaking

I've stayed there before and was satisfied. For quite fair price you get spacious room, warm floors in the bathroom, everything neat and clean. Good breakfast and friendly staff. It's situated in the nice and calm neighbourhood.

Just to write something - it's not in the city centre, so it takes time to get to the downtown. But we were aware of it. And enjoyed our stay. A kettle would be appreciated though.

The room was good, ABOVE expectations.

The shower did not have warm water, and this was known but not mentioned beforehand. Therefore, I spent several annoying minutes waiting for the show to become warm...

Passable

very bad service…when i asked for water they told me you should come and buy it more expensive water from our buffet and they dosent have a slipper for room … and first day there was a man there he was very grumpy…

Hotel was close to close to my meetings location.

Elevators stopped working, had to go up 6 floor using stairs (they did not allow us to use the staff elevator, most of the staff (not all) were rude, after me using the stairs for 6 floors they refused to deliver the pizza to my room and (asked me to pick it up or they will throw it away”, one day there was no hot water in bathroom “it was around 0 degree outside”. Room smelled bad i guess from whoever in the next room or from the AC.

disappointed

bad customer service, the phone in the room was not working and wasn’t fixed. hot water was disconnected for long so i had to miss the shower early morning , elevators were not fully working during my stay, only one was working.

Hotel has very convenient parking arrangements. They offer multiple possibilities to accommodate for guests needs.Hotel is 15-20 minutes walk from a metro station. Walk directions are straightforward and safe. Metro can connect you to main city spots in short time.Hotel was clean and bed was comfortable.Staff speaks English and it is pretty friendly.

Facilities deliver the expected functionality, but they will need some renewal in the coming months. There are already some signs of wear here and there but nothing that will compromise quality.

Great room, clean, comfy.

They have excellent staff. The room is big enough and very good for comfort.

When we arrived the sheets were dirty, but they immediately came to check and changed them.
