Excellent location near museums, center of town and restaurants. Beautiful property with style and character. Our room was super clean, beautiful appointed and had every comfort needed. The owner/host Ferry made us feel welcome - he is extremely kind and shares great recommendations. We loved our stay here!

Ferry, the owner/property manager, was exceptionally friendly, attentive and helpful. Very likeable person who went out of his way to make our stay a memorable one. From making sure he was there to greet us when we arrived, to the complimentary, beer and wine and snacks, and the fresh flowers, to seeing us off in an Uber at the end of our stay. Excellent two room layout, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, windows that opened up onto a view of a backdoor garden, and a view of the Rijkmuseum.

The ONLY negative is that our room was on the third floor with a steep walk up stairway, with no elevator. That was not a big deal for us, in our late 60s, because we are in good health, but could be for some people. Having said that, Ferry would not even think of letting us carry our luggage up upon arrival, or down upon departure. Too the stairway walls are gorgeously decorated with paintings that make you feel like you are already in the Rijksmuseum, there are bannisters on both sides of the stairs, it is nicely carpeted, and extremely well lit.

Andrew was ever available, friendly and helpful. Generously stocked fridge with beverages!

It is a beautiful characterful property. The stairs are very steep as is the case in many Dutch buildings but for older visitors it can be a little challenging.

Excellent location.Stocked refrigerator and Andrew brought a bottle of champagne for my husband’s birthday.

We wish we were in a room with traditional decor, rather than in a modern apt in a Mansion. It is actually an efficiency apartment, we didn’t know about that.

The owner ( Ferry) was lovely and the location was excellent.

The stairs were hard to navigate with a bad back, but Ferry couldn’t have been more helpful. He carried all the luggage up and down for us.

Ferry is the best host I have ever met. The penthouse is huge and beautiful. Great beds! Well equipped kitchen! Even a full fridge of goodies! Red wine,white wine,beer, nice cheese,etc, unbelievable! He will answer any questions you have and is super intelligent and knowledgeable. I will come back any time. Love love the experience! Thank you!

Ferry was an exceptional host—warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful. He greeted us at the door, personally guided us through the apartment, explained every detail of our stay, and even helped with our luggage. The apartment was spotless and cleaned daily. Thoughtfully designed with comfort and tranquility in mind, the space offers a beautiful view of the park. The kitchen was fully stocked, including a generous selection of snacks and drinks. Our family had a fantastic stay, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

I had a fantastic experience staying here! The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The highlight of our stay was definitely the Empire Suite. It was absolutely grand! Spacious, beautifully decorated, and unexpected for the price! We were really impressed by how comfortable it was. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Amsterdam – it's a gem!

Where do we begin? The pictures do not do justice with this beautiful room and beautiful hotel. Our garden suite was nothing less from perfect. Every small detail was done to perfection. The fireplace, the heated floors, the treats in the drawers and the fridge, candles in the bathroom and I can go on and on. This is truly a 5 stars hotel (is there higher than 5?). We loved the room so much we stayed there much more than we planned. Pure magic. The location is perfect for walking almost anywhere and our host Ferry was the perfect gentleman, so lind an welcoming. Thank you Ferry for an unforgettable vacation and thank you for the extra effort showing us your home and other rooms and for the extra service with my headphones. We will come back, that is a promise

Very friendly owner, excellent service, very spacious appartment

Perfect location very near the Rijksmuseum and the center also, and an absolutely amazing, charming, cozy hotel. The building is an authentic Amsterdam building, and the room has everything that a very comfortable stay needs. The host, Ferry is really friendly and helpful. Thank you, and hope to stay in your beautiful hotel again.

Room was bright, large and comfortable.Location was excellent; easy walking distance to museums and best shopping.

Walking up the stairs (we were toward the top) but Ferry (the manager) insisted on carrying our bags when we checked in and checked out.

Amazing room! Such a hidden gem in Amsterdam! We arrived with a fridge full of food which as so thoughtful! The garden view is amazing!

The property was absolutely stunning, such a beautiful building, in the most perfect location next to Vondel Park. The facilities were amazing, with everything you need for a perfect stay. Our Suite was incredible, the kitchen was stocked up with some lovely food and drinks for us. Our host Ferry was extremely helpful and ensured we had everything we needed during our stay, even recommending some lovely places to eat.

Everything was incredible. The garden suite was outstanding, so spacious. Our private garden was like a paradise. Everything you could possibly want and need.

The garden. An oasis in the city. Beautiful to watch even as it rains, and ever changing water feature. The location was great for the museums and for good places to eat but also very tranquil. Perfect place to re set your heart and soul. Lovely and cosy indoors. The welcome pack was truly splendid. The fresh flowers a wonderful touch. Ferry is friendly and very welcoming as a host but it truly felt like our bit of paradise in the heart of Amsterdam. Wonderful ❤️ thank you ?
