Stayokay Hostel Amsterdam Vondelpark

The rooms were nice and warm, and the coffee was good

The breakfast could have had more hot foods

We had booked a private room with bunk beds and were upgraded to one with two double bunk beds. The beds were comforable, the pillows nice (although I would have struggled with just one, so having the extra bunk beds helped). The bathroom was very clean and the shower nice and hot.

There could have been hooks in the bathroom, and a bolt on the door.

Great location next to vondel park with restaurants 10 minutes away in most directions. Clean hostel and not noisy.

Breakfast is a bit basic but there are restaurants around.

You can store your luggage in free lockers if your arrive early. We booked a private room and the shower and toilet was clean and spacious enough.

There was a funny smell when walking in and out the room u think it may have been the bin near the door.

Good environment, well comunicated and nice personel.

Nice location and the breakfast living area

We have been unlucky the last night of our stay as there were kids (18 years old, not small kids) from a school next to us and they’ve been screaming, running around, knocking doors randomly until 3am at least. I told them off at around midnight and they didn’t listen. I went to the reception at 2.30am, the guy at the reception came over with me, I told them to stop and to be respectful but they continued. This is not acceptable and you should find a way to tackle these behaviours as clearly just talking wasn’t enough.

Loved free lockers to use before check in time. Stayed in a suite with private bathroom. Glad we paid for breakfast as we could start our day without have to find a place to eat (we're 85 and 79 years young). We loved seeing and hearing all the folks ( young and old at breakfast}. Vondelpark location was perfect for relaxing and visiting museums.

Never booking again ever

I had problems leaving Japan, had no phone connection, arrived in Amsterdam to find my one week booking was cancelled and only 7000jpy refund No phone call no confirmation of my whereabouts What a ripoff

The location is excelent near the park, it’s in a old renovated school, very clean and cozy, the beds are comfortable and there are a loooot of healthy choices for breakfast

It had a good location near the center and the museums we wanted to visit.

It wasn’t clean, they hadn’t anything to warm up the room, the room was kinda smelly.
