Maison ELLE Amsterdam

Great location and clean spacious room

Pillows were not very comfortable

Very good

Late check out only until1pm - 40€ is a bit much

Excellent location, decent (European sized) room in a beautiful building.

It is a lovely building in a quiet location yet so close to everything

The weather!!

Small boutique hotel , in a peaceful location beautifully done up, slightly out of main city centre close to the park but near enough to walk into main areas . Friendly staff , very clean, ideal for a short city break - recommend it !

Pleasant location, convenient for museum district and tram to centre. Attractive atmosphere, good breakfast, friendly service.

Hardly anything. You can't turn the heating below 19° so if you like a cold bedroom you have to leave the window open.

Location was great, room was a good size and amazing shower in the suite!

Few cleaning errors, for example there was a foot print engraved onto our sofa in the suite and a few hairs in the bathroom.

Good location, 5 min walk from the train

Fusty smell in the bedroom, reception staff not overly friendly!

The location was perfect and the garden view was lovely

The room was colder than we like

Quiet room, no noise whatsoever. Great shower, comfy bed

Room could be too warm and AC couldn't be reduced below 19. The selection of tea & coffee in the room was poor, people don't always like nespresso plus the machine itself looked dirty inside. The coffee machine at breakfast was a little confusing, also, perhaps this should be on free vend throughout the day, would be a nice gesture. None of these negatives spoiled our stay though.

Very nice, stylish hotel with a boutique feel. Everything was as expected - comfortable bed, good shower, clean room. The location is a 15-20 minute walk from the city centre in a calm, peaceful location close to the park and the Rijksmuseum. I would happily return.

The breakfast offering was fine, but the service felt a little chaotic and disorganised, staff seemed quite stressed, not all items breakfast items were labelled (including not labelling common allergens/common dietary preferences), and fruits were a little dried out (as though prepared the night before). If I visited again, I'd probably skip the hotel breakfast and go to one of the many nearby cafes instead.

Very close to Vondelpark. Easy to get around due to good location and tram nearby. The hotel is not too close to the centre so it’s calm, but has lots of little of restaurants nearby. Nice view from the room as we were on the top floor. Nice and clean!

Clean and tidy (reception area had a lovely scent) - Bed was comfortable and room had everything we needed. Staff were also happy to help.

There was not much choice on the breakfast menu.

Great location, walkable to all places, and very close to the airport.

This is a cute hotel with well appointed, but small rooms, which is atandard in Amsterdam. It is outside of the canal ring, but easy access through vondelpark and on the tram.

The staff are not helpful and don’t even understand their own hotel. They don’t understand how to work things like the lights in the room and can’t answer simple questions. You get blank stares (and this is not a language barrier)

Great location, beautiful hotel, lovely and friendly staff.

Everything was so good for unexpected arrival due cancellation of some flights and easy to manage and talk with the personal

Only the light system controlling sometimes turn on alone, maybe because a Short Circuit but apart from that.

Lovely breakfast, omelettes cooked to order, comfortable rooms, very helpful and pleasant staff.

Couldn’t get the tv to work but that was probably a blessing.

The location was perfect and the garden view was lovely

A really great hotel. Friendly staff and an excellent location — Wondelpark is nearby, and the city center is not far. The breakfast was awesome, and overall it’s one of the best hotels in terms of value for money.
