Campanile Hotel & Restaurant Amsterdam Zuid-Oost

The location next to the metro and parkland. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Excellent facilities that included the breakfast and excellent priced bar.

Nothing good about the hotel. This is a third class hotel. No air conditioning. Very small rooms and rude and inexperienced help desk

1. No air conditioning. we were roasted in more than 75 Degrees Fahrenheit temperatures. I asked front desk is there any air conditioning and i was told it normally does not get hot here in amsterdam so we dont have air and she said this is unusually hot

Affordable; Close to public transportation (and reception sold tickets).

Poor noise insulation; Not the most comfortable beds.

Nice room with a comfy bed. We booked the superior room for 2 nights which was good for our short stay in Amsterdam. The trainstation is basically next to the hotel and you only need about 20mins to get to the central station which was very easy. The room itself was new, modern and basic such as the bathroom. Price was okay too. If you want a quiet place for your own this place is perfect.

-no power outlets in the bathroom (other than build in ones from the hairdryer which didn’t work on my hair straightener etc!) so it wasn’t possible to style my hair -Wifi on the tv didn’t work so you could basically only watch dutch television, sucks if you want to watch Netflix or YouTube after a long day in the city -it’s built like a motel more than a hotel

The tv didn’t work, the location like the area it was in was very shady, the ventilation was so loud and it never stopped so I couldn’t even sleep well.

The standard of the rooms does not align with a 3 star hotel. The rooms feel ”old” and dingy, even if they are clean. They need redecorating. Access to room was from an outside balcony, like a motel. Beds were too worn out and soft, and my single bed was the most narrow one I ever slept in. I just about ” fitted” in it. The bedlinen was worn out with a hole(!) You always need to pull down the METAL curtain or people walking by on the balcony can otherwise see right into your room. So room is without daylight - and despite this they had not put proper lighting in the room. No roof lamp, just a wall lamp with a ”pink” soft light. Would not recommend, despite its location next to a metro.

Old standard, dingy rooms with worn out bed mattresses, with not enough lighting in the room (Dark) Not a 3 star hotel like it says on Booking. This is a 2 star MOTEL. Rooms are reached via outside balcony. You have to have the metal curtain pulled down all the time unless you want people who are walking on the balcony looking in at you…Which makes room dark. Rooms need redecorating! Otherwise, the reception area and breakfast area are newer , nice and modern. But not the rooms…

I liked how comfy the bed was.

A bit cheaper hotel compared to others a bit far from the city center, but there’s a metro station right in front of it so you can reach the city center very easily. Rooms are standard with everything you need, beds are comfortable and there is an option to take free coffee, tea and creamer in the lobby, which was quite nice. Parking is possible right in front of the hotel. Overall we were satisfied with our stay - we stayed two nights to enjoy to Christmas markets and the hotel met our needs.

We asked for an extra duvet in our reservation and the staff confirmed it will be ready upon check in. It wasn’t, so we asked again the housekeeping and they said they will fix it. They didn’t. So we asked again and then they said they have no extras available. Then before leaving we put the Do not disturb sign on the door and when we came back, the room was cleaned.

The location was very good for me, very close to the metro station.The staff was very kind and welcoming The room housekeeping was very good

There were some vans parked in front of my room and the engine sound and their voices were all over my room, and also the smell of gasoline coming in the room.

The only thing this time, I stay here regularly....I had to fill a form in, which I have never had to do before, even though I had paid in advance, through Booking.com.

Good location close to metro station. Parking in front of the hotel. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good.

Rooms were not so clean and common toilets at reception area were dirty.The matrass on the bed was too soft. Too expensive for the room. Room was a bit old fashioned.

The room with that price is very expensive. I need to pay extra for breakfast. I was thinking very nice hotel. I have to walk through the steps. That's also not good with that price.
