The beds were phenomenal for hotel beds! The hotel was very conveniently located and made the city of Amsterdam very walkable. The bathroom was huge and the room was greatly sized and warm when outside was so so cold.

The staff member that helped us came across as quite charged, we were lovely to him but maybe he was having an off day. It was almost $500 Australian for a night so not very budget friendly.

Very close to the train station and to the city centre. Rooms were clean and modern

Great location with very comfortable room.

Nothing. The room was really warm so I opened the window. Not a bad complaint in winter.

Room Heater was not working good, I told to the reception guy but did not work on it.

    Location and breakfast was great

Communication. I stayed with my brother in a queen bed together which was called by the hotel as twin beds

Great location, came directly from a long international flight. My room was ready early so they let me check in early as well. This was really nice since I was able to take a nap then go back out the same day.

    Nothing negative

    Location.

The girl in the reception should learn how to talk to people, we have a friend who come to wait for us, this lady didn’t allow her to stay with us and try to charge €25,00 for her for a very simple Breakfast, we speak with the manager hope they can teach her a bit more.

Great location, front doors that only open with card (safe), clean room, coffee machine in room, accommodated late arrival. Checkout in under 20 seconds, great for travellers due to proximity to train station.

Sound privacy was not ideal, but still decent.

Location. The breakfast was very good - lots of choices.

I was in 2 different rooms - both had intermittent internet connection problems - one evening I had to go down to the ground floor from the 1st and 2nd floors before I was able to connect - very annoying.

Location is greatDecent breakfast (eggs cold if you arrive at 10 am or later)

AC fluid dripping down into the bed frame and eventually into the bed itself Room very small Questionably clean (especially in the bathroom)

The location of the hotel is perfectly placed next to the train station. Good value for money. Room 128 was a nice touch for my last night.

I didn’t like that the showers drain wouldn’t drain the water quick enough so so it started to back up which gave me the ick. I think some industrial strength drain unblocker down the drains would be a good idea.

Great location and great price. Good value for money.

The showers plug couldn’t drain the water quick enough so it started to fill the bottom of the shower basin

In Amsterdam, guesthouses like this don't have an elevator, at least there was one there

They charge more than 100 euros for a very small room with one bed where there is no room to move, a window facing the other windows of the rooms. You can build guesthouses like this and look for customers, but it's worth 50 euros, not 100.

    8ShannenPosted on: 1-10-2026

So central, less than a 5 minute walk to the train station. Staff were lovely, room was warm once we figured out how to turn on the heater. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was good. Towels, shampoo, soap, hairdryer etc. all provided. Everything was clean. Can’t really fault it.

The shower was a bit temperamental, it would go from really hot to cold. Sometimes you could hear the guests in the next room but in fairness they were slamming doors and not trying to respect other guests, not really the hotel’s fault.

    8LilianPosted on: 1-3-2026

Perfect location that was close to everything, this made walking around easier. The breakfast was also comprehensive. Friendly and helpful staff.

The building itself is a bit old which means the facilities are a bit outdated. The bathroom drainage was clogged and had a sewer smell throughout our stay.
