Hotel Nicolaas Witsen

The room meets all basic needs and is comfortable for a short stay. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the city center, and the reasonable price makes it even more appealing. I didn’t have the chance to try the breakfast. ?

We stay in the hotel for the secpnd time and will be staying here again next time. The staff is super friendly, we had a special pleasant impressions about the lady from the kitchen, she made us felt like we were home.

Room size, but it is normal for Amsterdam

The location was very convenient. Walking distance to the centre, quiet neighbourhood, easy access.

One room card kept demagnetising, and the staff blamed us for it – it was one of four cards we had. A strange approach.

Excellent location, good breakfast with very good (and fast!) scrambled eggs, personally made. Good to honour Nicolaas Witsen's legacy with a hotel.

The staff at check-in were very friendly and efficient. The location is excellent — very close to the museum district and public transportation. Our room was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated.

The bed was a bit too soft for our preference.

Cosy little hotel in a nice place of town 2 minutes from the metro and tram..Room is relatively small, but that is part of the charm

The staff was nice, unlimited coffee was great, and the location was quiet but still close enough to Rembrandt Square that it was convenient.

The room was small. This can be remedied by a wiser choice of furniture. The round table and couch at the foot of the bed were awkward.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in, very clean, very quiet and modern10 min to the metro station.

We really liked the rooms, it was a bit small but we already were prepared for that. It was really clean and comfy. The location was super good, we were always walking to the city center. It was also really close to the De Pijp area, the best for late hangouts.

Quiet street, excellent breakfast with friendly staff, great location for museums, Albert Cuyp market, and canal wandering. Room was small but very efficiently designed.

Hidden gem near museum island

Newly renovated with great AC and a prime location to move anywhere and anyway you want across the city.Staff ready to answer any questions and a lovely lobby if you need to fuel up before leaving. A must if you have all the museums in your itinerary.Room was spacious enough to accommodate for two people working for a bit from it a couple of nights.

Easy to walk to attractions and great restaurants. Kind staff and clean rooms. It was nice to have coffee in the room.
