Hotel de Munck

The stuff was very nice and accommodating, very friendly and helpful with every request. They checked us in earlier than expected. The location is great, close to public transit but not too close to the noise of the center.

The room was on the last floor and the stairs were very steep - but the staff helped us with the suitcases.

Location was excellent. 20 minute walk to almost everything. Easy tram access. Grocery store downstairs. The open air market with the BEST food is 10 minutes

The stairs are VERY steep to get to the top. Can’t really complain , but if you don’t like confined spaces, it may not be your place…at least the 3rd and 4th floors. Ryan will help you eve if you don’t think you can do it!

Great location, easy to walk into the city centre and to near by restaurants

Located near a park and beside a restaurant so can be quiet loud at night and the vending machine outside of the ground floor room can be heard from inside the room

Excellent location near public transportation and market. Very nice and clean rooms. With such a a kind staff.

We loved that there was a piano we could play! We also enjoyed that there were appliances like an air fryer we could use in the common area.

We appreciate there was a small fridge to store things but would appreciate a slightly bigger one if you make your way to improving the community space.

The bathroom is too small.

Room was spacious, clean and could fit 3 single beds. Location was good - Walking distance to trams and just around the corner from a street filled with interesting restaurants, shops and cafe's. There is also a supermarket and ATM a few doors down on the same street. The staff were friendly throughout my stay and helped carry my bag up the narrow staircase. Overall a very pleasant 4D/4N stay.

• There is no room phone to contact reception/staff. It would have been a great help to be able to WhatsApp text/call the staff using WiFi/data, instead of needing to use normal text/call (sometimes international roaming is unreliable [and expensive!]). • The mattress was a bit too soft for my back

Chill central neighborhood, clean rooms, polite and helpful staff.

We stayed in a s small room with tiny window on ground floor in the backyard but were glad to have gotten it as last resort. No breakfast service. All in all not worth the hefty price tag.

Location was perfect. Ryan the manager went far beyond making us comfortable and was a delight to deal with. A true five star!!!!

Some stairs were a bit of a challenge.

Staff members were very friendly and helpful.Great location. Good coffee. A nice grocery store is only a few feet away. We would stay here again and we’ll get two rooms for four.

Nothing really, if you have bad knees, I recommend to request rooms on the ground floor.

Everything is great about the property. Perfect location, really helpful staff (especially Ryan), close to a park, close to a grocery store.

The people were very nice and helpful. The location was perfect for our interest. We loved the beds. They were very comfy. We appreciate that we had access to the kitchen, and we appreciate the free coffee in the morning.

The cleaning of the room is not done daily.

There was nothing we didn’t like. The hotel is what it advertises, if anything I think it is better than advertised.

The wall/door between the room and the hall are very thin. We would wake up, whenever someone came home during the night. Otherwise nothing bad to mention.

Such a convenient location! The hotel was very accommodating with our late check in, providing us with all the information we needed in good time so that we felt reassured!

I had a great stay here however due to this being an older building the walls and floors are very thin so any noise is heard easily.My first night was disturbed by, I assume, was groups of young people coming and going til the early hours. Not a complaint but just something to be aware of if you are looking for peace and quiet.

A very good location, very close to the center. The hostel is quiet with free coffee and tea. The cleanliness is perfect. The guy who welcomed us was very friendly.
