Noisy. Huge infrastructure project being conducted right outside window. Hair dryer didnt work. Breakfast was meh. Electricity shut off at one point. All this would have been tolerable at the right price but hotel was way overpriced for value I received.

The staff was so friendly.

Vintage interior, very good location, cozy room, kind staff.

Even though we were informed before our stay that there will be some scaffolding and paint works occurring, we didn't expect drilling and hammering sounds at 7 am. It was impossible to rest.

The location is perfect for when arriving by train and all major attractions are within 30 mins walking distance. Breakfast is buffet self-service with plenty of choice and plenty to eat. The room was simple but clean and comfortable.

Everything you need as a comfortable base to explore Amsterdam. Really friendly staff, great facilities and a good breakfast. Comfy beds and clean . Love the train theme, so much to look at.

If im being picky then typical Amsterdam stairs are very steep but the lift is fast and quiet. The walls are a bit thin so can hear neighbouring rooms if they are laughing or dancing about but was never a problem early or late on.. so I really am just being picky!

The hotel is right in front of the train station and walking distance to many of the attractions. The room was clean and easy to access. It has a small fridge and dishes.

Cetral and confortable location, very nice and vintage hotel.

The location is great, right across from Amsterdam Centraal station. We were able to leave the station and walk three minutes to get there. It’s a European hotel - small, efficient rooms, but the theme and decor of the bottom floor was really charming and fun. The staff was great as well. The breakfast was good, though nothing exciting (hey, included hotel breakfast, it is what it is), but it did the trick and was tasty. Don’t put the raisin bread through the toaster!

It’s a European hotel: rooms are small, bathroom is small, hallways are small, but for the price and location, it was great!

-they were able to give as a room earlier than checkin time-hotel location is very convenient, near to the train station & centre of amsterdam-aesthetic of the hotel is nice, love the vintage train design-breakfast is all good with free hot drinks 24hrs-staff are polite & all welcoming-high water pressure on the shower

-room space is a bit small-AC in our room is not working-no curtain that separates the shower area and toilet, it gets really wet everywhere after you took a bath

Loved the location which was right next to canal for cruises, the main train station and the main high street. There is a supermarket right next door Everything is walking distance.The room was clean, bed was so comfortable, and thermostat was great so could manage room temp well.Breakfast was basic but tasted great. The staff and team were so friendly and helpful. Loved the team and would come here again

Location is perfect

We habe the apart room , turn out it was on the attic and have a very steep stairs.

Perfect location. Friendly, courteous and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast every morning. Comfortable bed.

No complaints at all. Room was a little small but that was okay for me. Room was comfortable with all that I needed including a safe and decent shower.

Our stay at the A-Train Hotel was delightful. Perfect location near Central Station, friendly staff, and a good breakfast start off the day (plus 24-hr. tea/coffee machine). Room was comfortable. Will definitely stay again!

The location was perfect and love how close it is to the station. Additionally, the staff were super welcoming and friendly. I forgot a few things while packing but they were very helpful in providing what I needed, which made my trip more enjoyable and hassle-free. I would definitely stay here when I visit the city again!

Was a lovely little hotel that is close to everything. The staff were very friendly. Also having free facilities downstairs to use whenever was great especially when waiting for your train or flight.

Location is in the city center and walkable to many places. Breakfast is quite good. Staff are helpful.

Room is quite small (my room type is first class) so if you have a big luggage may not be convenient. But it’s not a problem for me.

The location and it had a lift to reach the floors

The double bed was a bit uneven and had a bit of a sloop to it.
