Hotel City Garden Amsterdam

Great location.

Location of this property is very good and area is very peaceful

There is noise of house keeping staff in morning and without letting know they knock the door

it was a comfortable stay in a quiet location

no criticism of the hotel but it was a little further than main square

Very friendly helpful staff. Great sized rooms everything we needed for a quick city break

Quite a walk out from the centre but it was a nice quiet neighbourhood

Great location to the city. Easy access to public transport. The complimentary coffee machine was an excellent touch. Beds were comfortable and clean with very comfortable pillows.

Carpets were a bit tired and worn in the room, although it was clear that maintenance work was ongoing and updates were being carried out (none of this work was disruptive).

The room is very tiny for two people

There was coffee, tea and a watercooker available in the room.

The staff was friendly at all, the mattress wasn't safe, the shower was nearly broken.

The double room is very very small, the bed is uncomfortable and the mattress keeps moving off bed underneath with any small movement.

The staff were rude, it was SO loud at night time, people running up and down the hallway every night, waking us up. It was very disturbing and frightening.

Hotel is clean and with lift which is very useful for checking in with luggage carrying and going to your room upstairs

It’s not central enough but connectivity is good and all major museums are near by and good for those who like to stay with less activity but all big and brand shops showroom lane is just across the street and nice view

Very good buffet breakfast. Good location near museums and several tram lines. It's a budget hotel, and that's what we wanted.

Two different stays here. We were too short to be able to use the room safe in the second room. (None of us is 6 ft. tall!)

Location was only decent thing about this hotel

Staff was not very helpful and quite rude we found bed bugs in room 273 reported the problem to reception and was told they can change our bedding and wait till the morning until the owner arrived as they coundnt change our room had to sit up on 2 chairs all night as it was after middnight all this was found

Dirty rooms. Heating didn't work properly. And the shower was mouldy
