Pros +
- Good location out of the crazy tourist areas. Lots of nuce restaurants, bars, shops etc 5 minute walk and Vondel park next door.
- Clean , comfortable, good location
- The central location makes getting around extremely easy, both on foot and by public transport.
Cons -
- The room was too small. The hotel thought cramming in a double bed into a room that was almost the exact size of a double bed was a good idea. It left no room to get around the bed and entailed crawling on to the bed to get in it. There was no room for a bed side table.or anything really. Plugging in a mobile charger involved contortions that could easily have led to injuries. The hotel should make it a single room and stop being greedy. The double bed was also 2 single beds pushed together with a mattress over the top so led yo a gap developing in the middle.
- The cleaning staff did a good job, but the cleanliness of the property itself was terrible. The room had some very serious problems, not to mention the size of the room. The bathroom has no windows or fans, which means that even a hot shower creates a lot of humidity, making the bathroom practically unusable. The windows in the room are quite drafty, and the radiators don't heat enough.
- The room we stayed in was too small it would’ve been a struggle if it was anymore than 2 nights. The bathroom door needed oiling from its hinges , I think all the other rooms needed it too.

We really enjoyed the location it was very close to everything and the check in check out was super easy

The location is excellent, near an area full of bars/cafes. I like that they provide a digital key to open all necessary doors, as well as coffee and tea. The room for four is spacious, with a table, TV, kettle, and coffee maker. Room cleaning came when we were out and cleaned the bathroom. There is central heating as well as an extra heater.
The double room was way too small and the walls too thin so we could hear a lot of noise from the hallway.
Location is great.
The black mold and the lack of hot water detracted from the experience. Poor sound insulation kept me up at night.
The location is fabulous. Other than that it was not worth the money. The standard bedroom for two was ridiculously small and uncomfortable. The same can be said for the bathroom. The only window in the room could not be lifted. It should not cost more that 50 euros per night.
It was quick to book and check in.
- The room was on the ground floor and other guests were smoking marijuana outside our window. The window was old and draughty and the smoke came inside the room. I tried to contact the hotel at the time to alert them of this and ask to move rooms, but received no response. - The room was really cold and draughty because of the old window. - The room was advertised as having a large double bed, but it was 2 single beds pushed together, with a mattress topper that was too small on top. The beds got pushed apart in the night and we sank into the middle because if we slept close to the edge of the bed, we were on an uneven surface because of the mattress topper. This was a falseley advertised room and I would have just chosen a room with 2 single beds if I had known it was going to be this way.- One of the mattresses was disgustingly stained.- A cleaning lady just came into our room at 10am when we were still in bed (because our flight the night before was cancelled and we arrived late). - The entrance of the hotel smells of damp.- Even though there is a sign on the front door that tells you to close it carefully, some people cannot read and were allowing it to slam shut until late at night (the same ones who were smoking outside our window).- It's not very sound proof and the same awful smoking guests were talking obnoxiously loudly in the hallway.- I tried to use the chat function to contact the hotel during our stay and afterwards but nobody replied - they don't care.
Easy check in/check out. Close to City Centre, very affordable.
Very very small room and even smaller bathroom. The shower has close to none water pressure.
Cleaned very well . Room clean offered Dailey. App easy to use , no key to loose just gotta keep a tight grip on it .this was a super cheap hotel stay so hard to complain
Top floor is a mission to get up to . Was very weathered . Needs a repaint and a more comfortable bed and extra pillows . But value for money was perfect.
Very good location.
Very tiny room good for one night stay. But it had some dust and hair from previous people in some places in the room..
perfect for a single person, in business travel, with a modest budget. Not for more then 2-3 nights. The completely digitalized access makes irrelevant the questions regarding the staff.
location, it was very close to the city center
no elevators, room was so small, no mirror in the bathroom, no shower area or curtain - whole bathroom was wet after showering.
Great location good value.
The window near the bed was a single glass window with almost no insulation, and it was broken, I had to sleep having a cold breeze on my face...
AVOID
There are no staff on site. They watch you through cameras and speak to you through speakers on the wall. You can not see them but they can see you. They are probably very far away, perhaps not even in Amsterdam (and if they are in Amsterdam they may as well not be). The internet connection breaks up. You can't understand what they're saying and they can't understand you. You don't have a key. You have to press a button on a website to open any door. Phone dead? Good luck. No connection? Good luck. Mould on the walls. Room so small the bathroom door doesn't fully open. The whole experience is frankly dystopian. It's antisocial. It's against civilization. Bring back real humans.
The self check-in was helpful as our arrival time wasn't really fixed.
The digital keys. In our case, we had two rooms and I wasn't able to use the keys from the same phone. Though we tried using two phones, sometimes, the keys doesn't work on the first attempt. Us with the kids and stuff to carry, it was a but painful when we had to stand in the narrow hallway to try multiple times before the doors opened.
Great location, clean room. The room is small but really cozy, beds are comfortable. The cleaning lady was very kind and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!
It was cheap and close to a tram stop and easy access to the hotel
The shower and the fact it was a hike to the room
Central location in Amsterdam, historical buildings
Room was dirty, sink basin leaked. Other guest were noisy and speaking loudly and banging the entrance door until about 02:30 am. Single bed base with a three quarter mattress on the base. The light fitting is directly in front of the TV. Someone’s hair was on the shower walls. The walls were dirty
Pleasant
No feedback from the owner when we complained that the safe box wasn't working. Room wasn't well cleaned and had small broken glass remains.
