The staff was kind and the location was great. We were close enough to get everywhere we wanted either on foot or by tram and yet just outside the tourist crush. Easy access to/from the airport on a single bus.

The basement room isn't great. It is a bit cheaper but definitely wouldn't do it again. Our friends stayed in other rooms and they were definitely much nicer with nice flooring and wall paper that wasn't peeling off the walls.

The location was excellent, right by the canal, tram stations and near to much of the nightlife. The staff were very helpful, and even decorated our room for our honeymoon.

A bit of noise from construction, but it was mostly during the day.

I would have liked more choices at breakfast. For example, I would have preferred plain yogurt rather than flavored, which contains sugar and I can't have. The staff was very willing to prepare eggs and other items for those who wanted them.

Comfy room. All amenities we expect plus a few cans of drinks are much appreciated. We were able to check-in earlier as our room was ready.

It's an old building, while very nice it's not well insulated. There was draft coming from the window and also sound from other rooms. Check in info was confusing, we thought there is no reception during daytime either but there is.

We had a pleasant stay, the location is great, everything is close. The host was very nice and helpful in recommending where to go and what to see. Also close to Vondelpark if nature calls.

It was very small and there was no place to open up my suitcase. But the room was in a good location. They were also very accommodating regarding helping with finding certain places and restaurants.

The room was too small. There was no room for a suitcase and the refrigerator in the room was broken. The mirror was a bit too high. I could not see my whole face, (maybe if you took off the border).

Location. French balcony. Bed.

Noises/loud cleaning crew/sloppy house keeping/house keeping walked in our room three times during our stay without waiting for an answer from us and then still walked in when we answered./bathroom sink didn't drain and the ceiling molding was falling off.

Great location, lovely views from my room, additional treats of drinks/coffee/tea was very thoughtful and practical

Most bathrooms lights were broken, no good light fixtures in the main room for mood lighting (only bright ones), no full length mirror, night stands weren’t practical to put things on since they are soft stools

The location of the apartment is very convenient. Walking distance to most of POI locations. The room with channel view is a plus. The apartment was ready sooner than we expected and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

It was a comfortable, basic place in a good location for a short stay. The views of canals are a plus!

Staff friendly enough but the room was cheap, ceiling collapsing in bathroom, noisy location.

To be honest only the location and staff. Hotel is very run down, bedding was dirty as were towels. Not an overall good experience.

Dirty, loud - you could hear conversations from other rooms and street. Dark decor was covering up blemishes that needed to be fixed.

Perfectly located in the middle of everything. Very large room. Big shower. Very friendly staff. Easy check in process.

The carpet in the hallways were older. The shower head was broken so you had to hold it like a handheld when rinsing your hair.

Great location, huge room, very clean

The space was perfect for a solo traveler. There was a nice view of the canal from my room.

Since it was on a busy street, there was a bit of noise so I couldn't leave the window open.

No lounge area, taking a shower meant flooding the bathroom no matter how careful I was.

I check in the room I ordered, a room with a balcony, the ac on the wall wasn’t working, which wasn’t mentioned or updated by the reception, there was a mobile ac in the room that could be used only if the balcony door is open, which is not a solution, and is absurd to sleep with an open balcony door in the middle of Amsterdam with all the noise and humidity. The receptionist offered us the basement room which had a suffocating smell. We asked to leave and cancel the reservation with no cancellation fee and the receptionist said it wont be a problem, after we left they denied the request of the cancellation and stopped answering. Not the best experience for a hotel we didn’t stay in

Location, cleanness, size of room and staff. You can set the refrigerator cold.

Location is very accessible and close to shops and restaurants.

I wish there was umbrellas guests can borrow for rainy days.
