Currently under construction, location can't be beat, depending on room category the bathroom might not be up to American size expectations. Think Tetris moves to sit at toilet and rest your head on the sink. Bathroom was maybe 2' x 5'

Bathroom was a pitiful excuse for a bathroom.

Size of room, in particular the bathroom. View, it was of a wall. Walls very thin, could hear everyone passing as room was @ top of stairs, across from the lift. Safe wasn't working. Lift was working for 2 days and we were on the 4th floor

Rooms are tiny & small but clean and have undergone recent renovation, soundproofing from exterior noise is good, friendly helpful reception,

Tiny rooms, toilet is so close to the side wall that it¿s hard to sit on. Shower floor is not draining because the drain holes are higher than the floor, so there¿s always a very wet pool of water covering the floor. Poor interior soundproofing

The location was amazing to walk and enjoy the Centrum area of Amsterdam. Decent restaurant. Important lyft for handicaped.

The photos they put on Booking.com don't match the actual hotel. Don't be fooled. We chose this hotel based on the pictures and regretted it. We asked for a refund, but they refused, forcing us to stay in that awful hotel for 5 days. The rooms are very small, especially the bathrooms, where it's difficult to move around. When we shower, the whole toilet gets wet and doesn't dry because it's cold. Our feet are always wet. The shower curtain constantly sticks to the wall, making it very uncomfortable. The rooms are dirty; there are no slippers, toothbrushes, or cotton swabs. It smells of sewage, and despite them saying smoking is prohibited, it smells strongly of cigarette smoke. The rooms are very cold, and the air conditioning is inadequate. The pillows they provide are large cushions, not pillows at all. The staff are very indifferent. When I asked if I could speak to someone in charge, they said they were on leave and couldn't call. When I asked who solves the problems then, they just stared at me. There are many much better hotels nearby for the same price; we stayed in one next door last year, and it was 100 times better. We were very unhappy and uncomfortable for 5 days, and I've lost all interest in Amsterdam.

The first room (July 13 arrival) room and bed was small and the mattress was sliding off the bed.(second stay this was corrected)

We miss dinner at the restaurant because it had close. But not the fault of the hotel.

Small room and small bathroom. Even for European standards…you can barely sit down on the toilet. Walls are very thin, you can hear everything in the hallway and from your neighbors

The stuff , the reception stuff have very rude responses, unprofessional dont know how to deal with families at all , i was in a euro trip and between 5 countries this was only the stuff that they dont smile in your face , i messaged the property that i have twin babies ,, but when arrived i found them saying i didnt message anyone

This was my fourth booking at this hotel, and as long as they have availability, I won't look for any other hotel in Amsterdam. I highly recommend it. If you have the opportunity, be sure to book a room with a city view; the view is absolutely worth it.
