The receptionist warmly welcomed us and surprised our children with complimentary teddy bears and coloring materials — such a lovely touch.Special thanks to Aida in the restaurant for going above and beyond to make us feel at home. • They are having some construction on the street canal, but overall great experience.
    • The only small issue was that the hair dryer was not working properly, but overall we had a lovely experience and would happily return.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was beautiful and fabulous location

They were having work done there so woken up at 8am to hammering but understandable as they were making improvements

A perfect stay, cannot fault the room, hotel, staff, location!! Family friendly. I'd made a small personal request which was also accommodated. Definitely rebooking this hotel when we revisit Amsterdam.

Great location, staff was wonderful. Coffee available 24 hours a day in a lovely area.

    Construction noise

As requested we were given a well-appointed good sized room with a pleasant view over Prinsengracht. There is no noise from the rest of the hotel, but some noise from the street, although not enough to bother us. The comfortable breakfast room offers a superb selection and is served until 11. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, being close to many attractions and next to a tram stop and not far from the airport bus stop.

The only downside is the price, but all hotels in Amsterdam are now becoming very expensive,

We had an amazing stay at this hotel and honestly couldn’t have chosen a better place in Amsterdam. The location is perfect – right at the continuation of the main street, so everything is close by, but without the noise and crowds. There is a tram stop just outside, which makes it super easy to get anywhere in the city without long walks, although most of the central attractions are still within walking distance. The hotel itself is excellent. Our room was spacious, cozy, and very comfortable, and it truly felt like a great place to relax after long days of exploring. We really enjoyed staying there. As a lovely surprise for our anniversary trip, we received a complimentary breakfast and a bottle of champagne, which made our stay even more special. The breakfast was delicious, and on the other days we had no problem finding great cafés nearby, as there are plenty of breakfast spots around the hotel. The reception is staffed 24/7, which was very reassuring. We arrived from our flight at 11 PM and were still welcomed warmly. The staff was always helpful with any question we had, and a special thank you to Olaf, who helped us plan day trips outside of Amsterdam and was always so friendly and pleasant to talk to.I truly cannot recommend this hotel enough. On our last day, the lounge opened and we had a few hours to spend before our flight, so it was wonderful to have a warm, comfortable place to sit, enjoy hot drinks, and some snacks.A perfect stay from start to finish.

The room was a great size and layout. Considering the weather the windows really held out the cold amd tje radiators more than kept us warm. The view of the canal from the 2nd floor was wonderful, especially when it was snowing. The staff were more than helpful and the location was amazing, sights in every direction amd food options everywhere.

If you prefer an english breakfast you'll need to go somewhere local, but not a thing to complain about.

    10GiuliaPosted on: 1-28-2026

The location was central with an easy walk to the museums as well as the central shopping areas. Some good restaurants nearby also.

    9AndreasPosted on: 1-26-2026

The hotel is very well located within walking distance of the museums and other attractions. The room is spacious, and we had a beautiful view of the canal. Breakfast is great. Staff was very friendly at all times.

    Can't think of anything...

Location was ideal for exploring the city on foot and by public transit. Received a delicious complimentary breakfast on our first morning, but opted for local pastry shops and cafes on other days. Complimentary “coffee lounge” with espressos was highlight.

Bed wasn’t the most comfortable (they probably need to turn the mattresses more frequently. The downside of the location so close to public transit means that you hear the tram all night long.

    10VipraPosted on: 1-21-2026

We took a canal facing room and we completely enjoyed. The room is big, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast at the hotel is exceptional. The location of this hotel is great with a lot of restaurants right around the corner and tram station right outside the hotel.

They have oranges and a machine for making fresh juice if you happen to be vegan. Their coffee maker makes some of the best that I've had in Europe.Nice quiet rooms, very clean, view of a canal, close to many attractions, numerous dining options, a very good experience for us!
