Holiday Inn Amsterdam - Arena Towers By IHG

The room was clean, modern and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay in Amsterdam.

The sofa bed was very creaky. It made lots of noise every time the person sleeping on it moved.

Fairly accessible to a major train station. Very quiet location was great.

No cleaning of the room on Sunday.

The room was nice and clean and well equipped.

The shower pressure was very disappointing Car park charge was a bit high.

No minibar or fridge!

The rooms are basic; the room temp. could not be raised; toilet faucet leaked when hot water was used; fire alarms were set off requiring evacuation building, after hotel guests were evacuated into the cold, there was no emergency, it was a drill!

There was dirty cutlery in the room and the person who checked us in was rude and didn't tell us how to use the elevator properly.

The cleanliness, attentive staff and breakfast! It is also close to the bus and metro station, decathlon and IKEA

When we checked in to pay the hotel tax, the girl at the reception said no breakfast. I had to show the original booking on the phone.

I liked the overall theory of the executive suite and how nice the hotel looked

The executive suite was dirty. Flies lots of flies in the room near the window. Bathtub and shower were dirty with hair. Room smelled old and Honestly needed to be clean. Also, they treated my girlfriend rudelyx I¿m not sure why but also i noticed everyt

Was a great stay and such a nice location.

We live in Amsterdam and stayed here on New Year’s Eve solely because public transport stops and taxis/Uber are extremely difficult to find, so the location close to the event venue was convenient. One positive point was that there were relatively few fireworks in this area.

Despite having a confirmed Booking price, we were charged more upon arrival and had to insist for this to be corrected. The staff appeared indifferent, unhappy, and lacking basic courtesy. The room was uncomfortably cold; even with the air conditioning set to the maximum heating level, the temperature did not improve. The beds and duvets were noticeably small and uncomfortable. There was no mini fridge in the room, which is quite unacceptable at this price level.

The location

The stuff gave us wrong information about the breakfast time and we missed it. There is no communication between them and gave us a lot of wrong promises.

Stayed only one night and it is mainly chosen for going for the ajax football match. In that sense its a perfect location for that. Easily walkable to the stadium. Food in the restaurant is good, kids eating for free is an added bonus. Self check out super market was very convenient. Breakfast spread is decent and the live omlet counter was great

It definitely pricey. But probably due to the demand due to the football match. Normal bed was good, but the sofa bed was totally not comfortable. Even for 2 kids, it felt shorter.

Close to the Ziggo Dome. Nice upgrade given by the booking site.

Coffee & tea set was hidden in a cupboard. Only saw this when we checked out. Two hotels within one building with lift providing access to one part of the hotel (but not the other part of the hotel, a bit confusing).

Good and friendly staff

The room was nothing like in the picture. If you pay more than 600 Euro's for a room with a view, you want a view.

My card did not work on the elevator and the adjacent Holiday Inn Express reception staff were really fast at sorting it out for me. The staff overall were quite pleasant and accommodating.

The room looked quite dated and the signs of wear and tear in the room was pretty high. The location was pretty good. The complimentary tea packets were crumpled up, and there were basic things missing like a toilet brush (weird thing to notice but still)
