Let me tell you about our experience at Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam – Arena Towers by IHG. From the moment we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the receptionist, who was very kind and polite. We had booked two rooms for three days, and even though we arrived well before check-in time, there was no problem checking in early.The rooms were exceptionally clean, with comfortable beds. In addition, each person had two pillows — one for those who prefer to sleep on a firmer pillow and one soft pillow for those who like softer support. We have stayed in much more expensive hotels where this wasn’t available. I think that’s excellent.The bathrooms were extremely clean. Breakfast was very tasty and plentiful — everything was delicious. The hotel’s location is very close and convenient to Bijlmer Arena metro station, from which you can reach the city center as well as the airport in about 40 minutes. Very convenient.Check-out was at 12, but the hotel allowed us to stay until 2 p.m. completely free of charge because we had a late flight. I have absolutely no complaints about anything. I am certain that my family and I would stay at this hotel again.

It wasn’t clean . Had mould in my room very visible dust everywhere and even hair in bed and on curtains

Beautiful Mariam, with her beautiful smile, did well to give us a room with a view she attended to us well.

We stayed 2 nights before in Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam North. Which was way better. This hotel in Arena feels very budget. But you pay same for one night as 2 nights in Amsterdam north.

It was very near the station and ziggo dome , very clean , good breakfast

I found the parking fee was too expensive. I expected a fee which is ok. But open air parking at almost 40 euro for around 19 hours we were there is too much.

Great continental breakfast included, close to Afas live so was back at hotel after a gig

The breakfast! Great choice. However the coffee both in the room and in the breakfast room isn't great.Good location near metro and student accommodation to drop off student child!

Two coffee sachets but one creamer and no sugar left with coffee machine for two people.

Very well located, easy to find!Gym is tiny but useful!

Gym could be open 24h (or at least be available early).

Ideal location for venues and transport links (bus + trains), friendly staff despite it being really busy, comfy room (+ great view), wide range of breakfast options

Great location, close to the Ziggo Dome. Very kind and helpfull staff. Very good breakfast with loads of options.

No fresh air in the rooms. Windows could not be opened. But due to the rooms locsted from the 7th foor and up that’s normal ofcourse. But wouldv’e like to had a window with maybe some ventilation vent in the window.

Location, the place is clean and a good breakfast.The people at reception were nice and they even gave us an adapter for the entire stay.Very convenient place to stay in Amsterdam

Had to ask a few times to get 2 extra blankets and the guy delivered us only 1. We then asked again for an additional and he started to ask questions and ask why. Obviously if we are 2 people and have twin beds, we need 2 blankets, not 1.

The location and the friendly staff, and the possible to get vouchers etc. for now having the room cleaned, however it would still be nice to get new towels. Furthermore would be nice if the vouchers were valid for other things than just drinks

The breakfast, the bed in the room, that I wasn´t able to block out the light even though the it is "black out" curtains in the room ( room 934) a corner room, and the lack of cleaning when I received the room on the first day ( I didn´t had any cleaning during my stay )

The room had a massive divider and the kids bed was a pull out couch. Honestly would've been more comfortable on the floor as it kept sinking in the middle. The parking was extortionate. Would've rather stayed in an ibis

The beds. The cost of the food and no choices for kids on the menu and the parking rate was ridiculously expensive
