- Friendly helpful staff
- Great value for the money! Right next to Vondel Park and the outdoor cafe. De Pizza Bakers down the street was the best pizza ever. Easy access to the rest of the city from the Tram stops. Room was perfect. Love the conscious concept.
- Generally a nice hotel. Staff is friendly. The restaurant is nice. It's a good alternative if you don't want to be in the city center, but it's still easy to get to by walking or car. Being next to the Vondel park is also great.
Cons -
- No toilet paper holder and the smallest garbage pail ever
- City road construction out front made getting around a little tricky sometimes, but not the fault of the hotel.
- With a toddler, some things in the room weren't ideal. No table meant he spilled things on the floor and bed. The bathroom door shuts on its own so his fingers got caught in the door. Lack of a mini fridge meant we couldn't store milk.

This hotel was so cute. the room was wonderful and much larger than I thought it would be. Location was great for the price. I was able to get to the city center by walking and also by rail. As well as to and from the airport by rail with only one transfe
Clean, new hotel with a lot of charm and great options for dining/going out inside and all around in the neighborhood. An easy tram ride from the touristy areas or a 30-40 minute walk.
Location, vibe, staff, eco friendly.
Would have liked to have a kettle in the room.
Thr shower wasn't clean.

Friendly staff, beautiful room, trendy, very calm hotel, close to tram stations, nice option to hire bikes.
We liked the breakfast but I missed some vegan croissant or pain au chocolat and vegan yoghurt. It was also not always clear what was vegan and what not. The parking was very good, but a bit expensive.
Most of the staff were nice and i asked for flowers while booking and surprisingly they did gave us flowers and chocolate.(thanks a lot it saved my day with my fiance :)
It was too cold and the air conditioner was not doing it and they said they were going to give us heaters. We stayed 3 more nights over that day but still nothing.
Very uncomfortable rooms, not coming back for sure..
The location of the hotel is very good, just next to vondel park and a couple of minutes to the tram. My complaint is with the rooms. The first time we stayed here our room was very claustrophobic with a window facing a wall. This time, asking for a room with at least some view, we were given a room with a very small window, no natural light coming in. The bed was very very uncomfortable with squeaking coils (do they even make mattresses with coils anymore, this one must have been a really old one)The heating could not be adjusted, it started to give cold air in the middle of the night. The overall sleeping experience was not good at all.
Wonderful hotel with a fun vibe! The rooms were clean, and the blackout curtains were excellent - I had a great night's sleep. It was also very convenient to have someone at the reception desk 24/7
A couple of minor things: we couldn't figure out how to turn on the TV. Also, the entrance is a bit tricky to find from the street because the place looks exactly like a cafe! Once you find it, though, it’s a great stay
Location is good. Walkable to two train stations. Restaurants, coffee and grocery stores all walkable. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The bed wasn’t very comfortable and it did squeak a lot as other reviews have mentioned.
The hotel was okay generally (7/10). But refusing us a refund has significantly brought the rating score down for us. I would not stay at this hotel again knowing they'll charge whatever they want to my card.
We stayed at the Tire Station hotel for three nights. We were a group of 3. We were double charged for breakfast on January 5th. My mother and son went down to breakfast. My mother paid for both breakfasts directly with her credit card. She paid at the check-in counter. Later, while they were eating, she was asked for our room number by one of the hotel staff. My credit was then charged for the same two breakfasts that my mother had already paid for. We spoke to the woman at the check-in desk about this and she claimed she could not find the charges in the hotel's system. She didn't seem to understand that the first charge hadn't been associated with a room number. She insisted we needed to show proof of payment. After we arrived home, I sent the hotel a screen shot of my mothers credit card statement proving we were double charged. I emailed proof of payment to the hotel, after no response, I tried messaging them through booking.com. We've still had no response from the hotel which is why the rating is so low.
Customer service was excellent
Our stay was disappointing due to a lack of basic amenities like a working iron and hair dryer, alongside an inadequate heating system that left the room cold. Additionally, the beds were uncomfortably small, making it difficult to get a good night's rest.
Staff was really friendly and helpful and the facilities look very nice. Room was comfortable and so on.
Not that I dislike, the location seems to be a bit out of route depending on what you are planning to do. But totally manageable if you take the overground trams.
Confortable, very clean. The staff was super nice and helpful.
Great location for getting around Amsterdam by tram. Very clean. Good coffee, treats, wine, beer available on the main level, which made it delightful for a little reading/writing time.
The bathroom and room was clean. The HVAC could be operated independently. Location is close to the airport.
I asked the front-desk for restaurant recommendations since I checked-in late, they basically asked me to check on Google Maps. I am tech-savvy enough to do that, thank you but the point of asking the staff is to get first-hand experience of somebody having tried a place. So, front-desk was not useful in my case. The neighborhood is quiet and restaurants are at least 20-min walk away. Breakfast was average, hot chocolate was pre-made in a container and was miserable. There was a constant humming noise in the hallways which leaks into your rooms since the sound proofing is bad. I did ask them to fix it. Overall, I found it to be really bad value for money.
It’s away from the AmsterdamCentral rush but not far. Location is perfect near vondlepark and great restaurants around
