- Good location, close to train station- Nice staff- Good breakfast with quite wide range of sweet and savoury choices

- Rooms are quite small- There is only one bed sheet to cover the mattress so no other layers of “protection/comfort”- Stairs to 1st/2nd/3rd floor are very very steep (but there is an “old style” lift if needed)

Room 803, basement. Quite, comfortable, and clean. Great shower and nice little desk for work. Great value and good location with a short walk to Central Station and Dam Square. My 3rd stay and I'm always totally satisfied.

Very basic. Noise travelled easily around the building. Poor water pressure in the shower.

The hotel location is near to central station (about 10 min by walking). You can drink free good coffee while seating in the lobby with the canal view. The staffs are very helpfull and smile face. Also you can clean your shoes by using machine at the enterance.

The water flush sound comes to the room loudly, the room was in -1 ground and you cannot open the window and curtain because the window see the others room and building blank. In addition room smells moisture in our first day.

The location was great, 10 min walk from the Central Station. Safe, quiet next to the red light district and the center. Staff was helpful. The room was clean and towels were changed every day.

The size of the room was very small, and I mean no two people could cross paths anywhere in the room. The shower faucet was very hard to operate with foam or soap in your hands.

Great location in walking distance of the central train station and attractions. The reception desk is manned 24 hours a day. We could store our bags at reception after check out.

One of the rooms we booked did not have a wardrobe or mini fridge.

Lift didn’t work when we arrived. Very difficult up the stairs when we arrived not repaired by next day. Dint think an older person would have coped.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The location was incredibly convenient—just a short walk to the bus stop, tram, and central station, which made getting around the city very easy. It was also close to several tourist attractions, restaurants, and supermarkets, so we had everything we needed within reach.The hotel itself was very comfortable, cool, and cozy. The atmosphere felt relaxing from the moment we arrived. We especially enjoyed spending time in the lobby, where you can unwind with a cup of coffee or tea after a long day of touring the city. The space is clean, welcoming, and perfect for a quiet break.Overall, we had a great stay and would happily return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for convenience, comfort, and a relaxing environment.

Located an uncomplicated 10-15 minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal, and adjacent to the Nieuwmarkt, Lastage area of the city with many shops, restaurants, bars etcetera within easy each and a good base for exploring further afield. I was upgraded to a larger room on arrival which was well-insulated against the noise of the city. Bed was of a very good size, clean and comfortable. Reception was staffed at all times.

Let down only by a few neglected little touches: one of two bedside lights not working; flat batteries in safe; shampoo and hand soap, but no body wash in shower; unresponsive hand set for air conditioning unit; few tv channels.

The stay experience was very good! The hotel is in an excellent location, and all of our sightseeing activities were very close by. It was possible to enjoy the city in the best way. The staff was excellent, very kind and very respectful. I recommend it and would stay there again.

As a negative point, I would mention the elevator, because having to keep pressing the floor number so that the elevator wouldn’t stop was not a very comfortable experience.

Staff was very nice and friendly. Few mins walk from amsterdam central station. Everything is nearby like stores and restaurants.

We stayed for one night, it was very nice location. The staff was very friendly. Unlimited hot drinks for free very appreciated in winter. Very big room with 2 floors in room. Nice tasty breakfast.

Little broken bathroom. Windows also not opening well.

Staff are friendly, especially one of the night staff. He was very happy to help with extra towels required after hours.

The family room is quite compact, but it is somewhat expected given the 3 star rating. It is a minimalist hotel, with cups, stirrer, kettle, small fridge.

Great location, polite and helpful staff, very clean, comfortable beds. Delicious breakfast.

Disappointing

The property is old, stairs are a death trap, room was less than 35 sqm not as big as advertised. Nowhere to even open a suitcase. Shower leaked. Bathroom needed maintenance as rotton wood. Staff helped with suitcases as the lift was broken and no-one had any idea when it would be fixed. A very disappointing stay at hotel in need of a lot of tender loving care to bring up to standard. Would recommend no-one stays there until this is done.
