    Pros +

    • Flawless check in and checkout. Also possible to extend checkout at a small cost. Support was also very good.
    • Comfortable loft, nice roof windows
    • It was clean and having codes to enter the doors. Beds were comfortable.

    Cons -

    • I booked a room with two beds and a pull out sofa bed. I got a room with one king bed. I had 3 people traveling so the room was completely not adequate.
    • Room can definitely be little more clean. Soap dispenser didn't work and pan was damaged. But support was excellent they arranged for replacement immediately. No complaints at all
    • The bathroom smelled incredibly bad, it was almost impossible to stay inside, and since there was a gap under the door, the odor seeps into the room, it was the first thing that greeted me.

It was clean and having codes to enter the doors. Beds were comfortable.

No elevator, no hot water for showers, tv only had 3 channels, noisy inside and outside, weird beam at the foot of the bed, loft was too hot to sleep comfortably, customer service in a different country and didn't know the room layouts. No response from messaging on Booking or what's app, only when called by phone.

    Really clean, nice and spacious

A little far from city center

Location, ease of check in, comfy bed.

The people upstairs were very noisy but no fault of the apartments. It can’t be helped

I had a very disappointing and concerning experience with YAYS Amsterdam Maritime by Numa. Before my stay (August 2025), I was targeted by a phishing scam where scammers impersonated the hotel staff. What shocked me most was that the scammers already had access to my full name, exact booking dates, and hotel details — information that should have only been available in Numa’s secure system. As a result, I lost nearly £2,000.I immediately reported this to Numa customer service on 16.08.2025, but received no proper response or support for days. To this day, they have failed to take responsibility, offer compensation, or even show genuine concern about how such a serious data breach occurred. This incident has completely destroyed my trust in Numa. If your personal information can be leaked so easily and the company shows little accountability afterward, it raises serious concerns about their data security and care for their guests.I strongly caution others to think twice before booking with Numa.

5 to 7 minutes to centraal station on bus.

Communication with admin staff was terrible. They were not responsive and helpful. Most of their units dont provide a/c and dont tell you in their advertising. Asked to be moved to a unit with a/c but was told I needed to pay more.

The room is very nice stuff very good and helpful

The fire alarm turns on from almost no smoke so you can’t really cook and also there was no AC

Cleanliness of the facility, quality furnishing, ambience outside the building, bus stop next door and close proximity to Dm Square (Central Part)

Steps on passage next to bed on bunk type arrangements

Our room was very hot, no A/C... Messaged for assistance was told to use the fan which we were already using day and night...too hot to sleep most uncomfortable. The walls are marked and unclean

    9FlynnPosted on: 7-12-2025

Location was great. The style of the rooms were great.

I liked there were cooking facilities but was too nervous to use the stove top in case it set off the fire alarm. We came back from eating out one night and the building had been evacuated because someone else had set off the alarm from cooking.

The hotel is very well appointed and my room was loft style with soaring ceilings on the second floor and a massive window allowing for plenty of light to come in. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were super responsive via WhatsApp and very welcoming & accommodating.

The only things that were a challenge for me during my stay was the significant distance of this hotel from the center of the city; I didn't realize it would be as difficult as it was to hail rideshare services to and from the center of the city, especially late at night. Also, when I checked in on June 9, 2025, the elevator was out of service; Hotel Staff informed me via WhatsApp that someone would be on site to fix the elevator the following day. Unfortunately, the elevator was still out of service when I checked out of the hotel on June 12, 2025. As someone who had been travelling with a significant amount of luggage over an extended period of time, moving my bags up and down two significant flights of stairs was far from ideal. Furthermore, the lack of a functioning elevator poses a serious concern for a guest from an accessibility standpoint, in terms of limited access to the first and second floors of the hotel for those persons living with a physical disability. Hopefully this issue is resolved in short order.

Reasonable option for families who need many beds and/or a lot of space

Main shower was hard to contain water.Second tub has a leak and sprays all over the bed when turned on.

No A/c, laundry machines not working properly, slowest elevator ever,

The location was great quiet but centralized. A bus and tram just steps away.

It was a little warm in the sleeping area

This was one of the most stressful and disappointing hotel experiences I’ve ever had, especially as a parent traveling with children. On the first night, we discovered visible mold on the ceiling directly above the bed. I contacted the property immediately to request a room change, but they refused. I couldn’t let my children sleep there, so we had to leave late at night and find another hotel — which was very expensive and stressful. The next day, we had to carry all our luggage again to return, and they didn’t even have a room ready until around 4 PM. We lost an entire day of our trip dealing with check-out, re-check-in, and waiting with tired children and no place to relax.Even worse, on the second night, there was a false fire alarm in the middle of the night. We had to evacuate the building — my kids were scared, barely dressed, and shaken by the whole experience. To make it worse, I saw the next day that someone else was already staying in the original moldy room. The hotel clearly didn’t clean it or take the issue seriously at all.Communication was also very unprofessional — no one answered the phone, and all contact was through WhatsApp. For the high price we paid, this experience was completely unacceptable.I absolutely do not recommend this property — especially for families.

It was clean & there were shops nearby

It was less than 70 degrees and the roomWas SO Hot!No AC & no window we could open. The fan helped but we couldn’t wait to leave every day

Staff was generally responsive over WhatsApp - although, I needed to repeat myself every time they transferred me to a different representative.I would have like it if they can look at the chat history, instead of asking customers to keep repating.

    1. Bathroom was very stuffy and smelled weird. This was due to a lack of proper ventilation for the bathroom.2. There was no fan in the room, although some other rooms already did. At nights it got VERY hot, and I kept the windows open to get some air. Although the problem with that was that because this room was facing the road, there was a LOT of noise all through the night, and I barely got any good sleep the one week I stayed at the room. Another problem due to opening windows on the rooms facing the road was a ton of cigarette smoke coming in through the windows, which was hard for me to put up with.
