Location and cost

I?m sorry to say, but I found bed bugs in the bed sheets and was unable to stay in the original assigned room. I was given a premium room in another building at the same cost and it was lovely. Also the floor outside of the shower, extremely slippery.

The location of this hotel is great for visitors to Amsterdam. It is conveniently located close to many tram lines, as well as, close enough to central Amsterdam to walk if you want.

The hotel scheduled a work order to be completed during our stay. This should have been done before or after our stay. When telling the staff about the inconvenience for us, they responded with ¿but you ordered it¿ which we did not.

Unaware breakfast was available. Hotel location was excellent, within walking distance to downtown.

Would've been nice to know about breakfast availability.

There was a lot of Insects all over the room I can’t sleep because of this reason. They don’t provide any water at rooms

Booked the superior double room, which is in the building adjacent to the main entrance. The room was beautiful! Impressively tall ceilings, large windows, nice decor, modern bathroom. Amsterdam hotel rooms are often quite small, but this was spacious! The bed was comfortable, and the duvet lovely. Simple amenities are provided. Pod-based coffeemaker, with very decent coffee. A big added plus is the provision of a separate water boiler, so that you can heat water without risking it getting coffee-flavored. No breakfast provided (but plenty of options within close walking distance), but there is a good automatic coffeemaker (espresso drinks, etc) in the main hotel lobby.Room was on the second floor, and was quiet. I would request an upper room for those wanting to minimize noise, as there is also a room on the ground floor. Occasional smoke drifted in from those smoking cigarettes outside, but nothing terrible. All in all, a comfortable and pleasant stay!

Not a criticism, as I was already aware this was the case, but those booking this room should knw that the adjacent building does not have an elevator, so they will be carrying their luggage up stairs.No major issues during my stay.

Excellent location - not far from the center and very near tram and metro. Spacious room (I took a superior room).

Airco didn't work. Kettle didn't work - reception said they would take care of it and didn't (notably a very simple problem to solve!). Bad smell in the shower. Interior design quirky - shower has no door, sink is inside the room, no proper cupboard.

Great design, excellent location, comfy bed

the shower floor is incorrectly sloped and there is no curb, so the water goes out into the room making a puddle and the floor slippery

It was not very expensive, location was quiet, room was large, host was very nice!

The room was kind of dingy and in the basement, room felt a little creepy

The design was beautiful, was close to the market and to the tram station. The room was great and lots of space

No breakfast

Staff was very friendly and helpful and the area was easy walking distance to great food spots and public transportation. Additionally, we actually stayed here twice within the course of a week after cutting a trip to Brussels short and returning to Amsterdam for a few days. They welcomed us back, left little treats in our room to thank us for returning, and made us feel very welcome. If we return to Amsterdam, we’ll definitely stay here again.

Nothing we didn’t like! Couple small details that would make the stay that much better would be a small mini fridge to keep our leftovers and actual shampoo rather than the hair/body wash combo provided in the showers. But neither of these were huge issues and we’d absolutely stay again.

This is a lovely small hotel near a park and fun outdoor market with food stalls, restaurants and merchandise stalls. Easy access to trams. Staff was very helpful

The staff was friendly and helpful. I got an upgrade, early checkin, late check out and help with the bus and train system. Highly recommended.

The location is good, calm neighbourhood.

There were lots of stains in the walls, curtains were a bit dirty. I mean the cleaniness could be better. And a small desk to open our bagages would be nice too.

Near to everything,very clean room and very accomodating staff

Spacious room, friendly staff.

Ground floor Room was near the entry door and the bedroom door would move/make a sound every time someone came through entry door. I also felt the windows weren’t secure enough on the ground floor.

Beautiful spacious room, early check in. We were kindly upgraded to a bigger room. Check in was seamless and the location was perfect in a quiet neighborhood but close to attractions and transportation. Would definitely return.

Staff were really nice, had great views and was lovely and clean

A very big and stylish room, a confortable big bed, a big shower. Friendly staff. Good position near De Pijp, nearby metro and tram stops.
