Pros +
- Nicely appointed room, very clean. Welcoming friendly staff. I've stayed in quite a few of the hotels around this area and this is probably the best overall although usually the price reflects this being slightly higher than the nearby Hampton and Holiday Inns. Was very good value in January. A few minutes walk from a major transport hub with trains, the metro and buses and also plenty of shops.
- The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and everything was well organized. I really enjoyed my stay.
- Clean room, perfect location, delicious breakfast, friendly staff. Highly recommended.
Cons -
- This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had, and I say this as someone who has traveled extensively around the world and stayed in many hotels.First of all, the room was extremely cold. We were traveling with babies, which made the situation even more stressful. Although the room had a wall thermostat, it was completely useless because the heating system was centrally controlled. No matter what temperature we set, it never went above 22°C and cold air was constantly coming through. The hotel provided a portable heater, but it was totally ineffective and did not warm the room at all. As a result, we had no choice but to take the babies into our bed and cover them with extra blankets just so they could sleep.Secondly, the cleanliness was unacceptable. The carpet was very dirty, the walls were stained, and the room looked neglected overall. This was absolutely shocking for a hotel claiming to be 4 stars — honestly, it felt like a very poor standard. The price is completely unjustified for what is offered. We paid 150 EUR per night without breakfast, which is already excessive. Breakfast cost an additional 26 EUR per person and was extremely basic and disappointing. There were no fried or poached eggs, only omelette and boiled eggs, and nothing memorable or worth the price. We also tried the Italian restaurant “51” inside the hotel, and the food was very average and uninspiring. Nothing special at all — just bland and forgettable. The hotel also has a very strange policy, blocking 25 EUR per night as a guarantee, which only adds to the unpleasant experience. To make things worse, the baby cot we were provided with was in terrible condition — crooked, unstable, and clearly worn out. Completely unacceptable, especially when traveling with infants. Also, in one morning at breakfast, I found a small piece of glass in my omelette. I have photographic evidence of this incident.

I would not recommend it, especially to families with children.

Clean room, perfect location, delicious breakfast, friendly staff. Highly recommended.
The only positive aspect of our stay was the bed and the pillows, which were comfortable. Unfortunately, this was the only good thing during the entire experience. And the staff, who was very polite and wiling to help.

The staff, that’s it.

Location for transport and Ziggo Dome was excellent! Professional staff, lovely breakfast and the bed and pillows were great!!The cleaning staff did an amazing job and our room was left immaculate every single day.
Nothing!! All good xx
Location, staff and breakfast
Modern and bedrooms were well. Located close to metro/train station and several restaurants.
Internet was a bit weak. Particularly I don’t like window style of doors for bathroom. These are not big issues though.
The location, the staff which is super friendly and the accommodations…
Location was walkable distance to Bijlmer Arena metro station. Our room was a comfortable one and had a great view.
I liked almost everything, but the breakfast could have been better.
Value for money, great breakfast. Easy reachable from airport infact direct bus and train. Train and bus will also take you central station in 15-20 minutes. Alot of restaurants option. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

The hotel is lovely. Everything is perfect, from the friendly staff to the clean, spacious and bright rooms.Breakfast at the hotel is excellent. I particularly appreciate the little notes indicating whether dishes contain eggs or are vegan.
It's not that I dislike it; it's just a suggestion to add fresh fruit juices, especially orange juice, to your breakfast menu.
Easy to access public transport Hygiene and good breakfast
Quite expensive
It was not the first time for my wife and I, so we knew what to expect. Everything was meeting our expectations. We booked a room over there as we have visited our daughter and grandson who live near by (Duivendrecht). The location was an important part of the choice.
We were there in unusually cold weather but it is not the hotel's responsibility to provide for it. There were two minor issues that are related to the hotel that I think nobody would like. 1. The electricity switches are disfunctionally located and cannot be fully controlled from either bedside. 2. The wifi access is unusually complicated. If one has two e-mail addresses and uses them on two phones, and due to earlier stays at Marriott hotels it is registered in the system, it is impossible to connect the laptop. In the end, the reception desk helped me out. The entire calamity is due to the fact the Marriott hotel chain want people to register. This is a pitiful approach that interferes with accessing the internet. Most hotels have got beyond this and have unlimited free access either without identification or in some cases with identification by the room number.
I really liked the staff's friendliness and their keenness to help you wherever possible. I was delighted by the room as I had never stayed at a Marriott before, so I was very pleased. The location wasn't too far from the station either! It was clean, comfy and everything you want from a hotel. would recommend!
Friendly staff
1-Lift did not work 2 days, stepping up to 5.floor2-Room furniture not clean -room 5143- WC closet stands in the middle of the bathroom, obstacle for the sink, need to close the cover to flush every time4-No orientation to the parking , there is no direct connection to parking place , you have to exit the parking and walik around the building to get to the hotel, no signs. Parking lots are spacy and clean.5-No signs in the fire elevators to find the dining room . You have to find it at floor 1 by trying. No sign for the dining room at floor16-poor breakfast ( bowls replaced Not frequently) , jams hidden to the side
The rooms were definitely spacious and comfortable with enough space to set up luggage and a little table and chair for work. Nice that there was a fridge and a safe. Good location for Christmas stay visiting family. It was not noisy although there were many guests here over Christmas. Nice cosy atmosphere in the restaurant.
The cleaners were not very effective: the room clearly was not vacuumed every day and the basic coffee/tea stock was not replenished. The shower was ok - hard to get consistent temperature control.
This location is perfect and the hotel is very clean.
I feel like the TV needs a upgrade to real smart tv
Very clean hotel with an excellent and convenient location. The restaurant offers excellent cuisine.
