The People! The staff and visitors I met were all excellent!!! I could not recommend a more fun and engaging place to stay. I will be back next year ??

Everything it was amazing

The staff and the people here are amazing! A very sociable place. They also have everything you need like towels, locker rooms. The best thing about the rooms was that there were cages under the beds that you can use as a locker. You need to bring your own lock or buy it from the reception to lock the cage though. The location is very close to the Van Gogh Museum and it's easy to get around everywhere by walking, and other transportation services. I'm definitely coming back here if I come to Amsterdam again!

The ventilation system was not working properly when I came to my room, but they've fixed it in a day. The room and the bathrooms were a bit dirty, but it was overall ok.

we were very unlucky to have a hardcore snorer in our room...

Location was really good, right across from vondelpark and only a few minutes walk from a great area (Leidseplein).

The lockup cage for luggage/belongings in the shared rooms is not big enough and very inconvenient to use whenever I wanted to get something out. Toilets were gross and tiny, hot water in the showers went out for a while.

A good place to stay overnight, good staff, good location, near shops and city centre. Our room was clean, bathrooms were clean too!

Nice and polite staff, nice beds, mid wifi connection.

Well it isn’t a problem, just know that u may be on the fourth floor and u need to do a little exercise to got up at the top floor)

Location is perfect, rooms are great and the bar downstairs looked very nice. Close to the park and groceries. One of the better places to stay.

Is not good

The building is old, but unfortunately it's not clean. The first room they offered me was so stuffy I couldn't breathe, so I asked to change rooms. They moved me to another room with six beds, but it was bad. The wall and door smelled musty, and although the shower was hot and steamy, there was no ventilation, and there was a smell of ham. The hot water cut out and there was only cold water when I had shampoo in my hair. I had to find another shower.

Its very economical and easy to move around.

Had to go up 4 flights of stairs up to reach my room, and when I sat on the toilet the my knees would touch the door.

Central location, clean sheets, and the female dorms have a en-suite bathroom, allowing you to shower easily and safely as a solo female traveler.

Bring an eye mask! Lights at each bed are super bright, people coming in late will wake you

Had a lovely experience here. The Flying Pig Uptown is filled with well-comfort sleeping rooms, good food for breakfast and a friendly working team. The location is in the middle of everything I like to be: Vondelpark, de Pijp and Leidseplein.I'm coming back for sure!
