The staff and location.

Our room was very cramped for a couple with two sets of luggage. It was noisy too due to roadwork outside the hotel. No elevator too.

Staff was very helpful and good location to walk from.

Room over a street where drinkers and band were noisy until 3 am ever night. No a/c on evenings above 80F so windows had to remain open with a fan in them with all that noise, especially the base drummer for a band playing every night till that 3am time.

Good location, nothing else.

The hotel overbooked and had no free rooms upon arrival. I was sent to their sister hotel, by foot, in extreme heat, hauling my suitcase when already very tired. They also invoiced me for city tax DESPITE this already being charged by the online website.

I like the location, at less than 5 min of the venue "Melkweg", I came in Amsterdam for a concert. The room is great same as the photos perfect for one or two nights.

The hotel has no lift so my room was at the last floor (5th) and I have asthma so it was complicated for me. The noise around the hotel but it's the their fault. The price! With all the taxes I had to pay around 125¿ for a night ! It's crazy

Fantastic location close to all amenities. Beautiful and clean room and private bathroom. Tiny, but expected for European hotel.

Staff and location

No elevator (room was on the 5th floor, no heating in the bathroom.

It is located in City centre, welcoming staff, daily cleaning, 24/7 repecetion. Walking distance from van Gogh museum.

Fantastic location right in the heart of Amsterdam, just seconds from Leidseplein and surrounded by shops, cafés and restaurants. Despite being so central, the hotel felt comfortable and welcoming, with a very cosy atmosphere. The bed and pillows were excellent and made for a really restful stay.What truly stood out was the staff — they were incredibly kind, helpful and accommodating throughout our stay, and genuinely made us feel welcome. Their warmth and willingness to help made a real difference and added so much to the experience.

The only downside was that there is no lift, which we hadn’t realised when booking, and we had to carry our suitcases up several flights of stairs. The stairs are quite steep, as is typical in Amsterdam (although they were wide), so this could be difficult for some guests.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Amsterdam city centre. Small,but cosy rooms. Comfortable beds,and excellent showers. Location is perfect to explore Amsterdam city. The staff ware also excellent,friendly and always helpful.

No lifts.

Excellent hotel with very welcoming and accommodating staff. Well located and quiet. I would definitely return.

The location is good. Close to the Tram station and a very lively neighbourhood.

Rooms are very compact. If you are two persons, it’s hard to move around inside the room. But it’s Amsterdam and for this price, can’t complain much.

Noisey neighbors on the other side of the street. Well into the early hours of the morning. Room was poorly lit.

Poor cleanness, bed not comfortable, very old premises, picture in booking doesn’t look like reality.

Didn't see mention of no lift, very steep stairs, got moved from floor 5 to 3 which helped

In room 205 was broken door handle. Dirty windows. And in room 405 was dirty towel. There is a draft in room 405. Radiotor was weak so it was cold inside!

amazing location, decent size rooms, clean and tidy

Corridors are very loud, sometimes felt like people were coming into our room when they were talking in the corridor

Room was clean and comfortable but a bit on the small side which is expected for older building down town. No elevator so be prepared to do stairs.
