    Pros +

    • The hotel was clean and we felt safe and taken care of. The staff was incredible. So kind, gave us recommendations, and helped us with problems with our room. Also, the location was unbeatable. We were able to walk everywhere.
    • The Amadi Hotel was lovely. We had two rooms for six days. The rooms were pleasant, bright, comfortable and quiet. The location was perfect. The staff was very friendly. Highly recommended!
    • The location was great and the staff was wonderful and helpful. They did show us a map and circled things we could do and where we could go. Very helpful! The room was adequate but a little small. It was a good experience and we had a wonderful time!

    Cons -

    • Our room amenities were broken, and that didn?t seem surprising. The fridge was tepid, our aircon didn?t work so the room was BOILING (they gave us a fan), and the sink didn?t drain. As a room it was below standards, as a location and staff, fantastic.
    • It was all good!
    • sink was clogged and it had a leak, all the bathroom flor was wet, they were fully booked so They cleaned and we had to live with the sink problem for 2 nights. i booked a king size bed and got a full size. The guys in the front desk very incompetent

The location is good, if you like to walk, the main museums and best places to visit are about 20 min walk

    helpful staff

odd building that seemed as if it was originally intended as sometime of business/office structure. Several other hotels also seemed to be occupying the structure

The staff went out of their way to help us. They did an excellent job!

1)Parking was a disaster! 2)The room was a bit small 3)Difficult finding the office initially!

The staff was incredibly friendly and the room was great, looking very new and modern. They're in a pretty good location for getting around...it was pretty easy to get to from the airport and it was a fairly short walk to the Vondelpark and museums.

The only "downside" to the hotel is it's a bit hard to find since their reception is not on the ground floor of the mixed-use building they're in (they said they're trying to see if they can move the reception downstairs).

    Location and staff

Not clear how to enter upon arrival

    The location was good

The room was dirty, the soap dispenser in the shower was leaking, the shower area had a bunch of mildew, the shower drain didn't work (had to stop the water every 30 seconds in order for the water to drain), and the AC was very weak.

Convenient location, quiet, clean, friendly staff.

My mini bar didn’t get refilled each day but that’s not a big deal. Small room but good for one person.

Check-in was nice and straight forward. Our room was modern and spacious, with a lovely bathroom and shower. Bed was nice and comfy.

Our room (and most others) have a patio door which takes you out of your room and onto a shared terrace. Upon arriving into our room we found this door was wide open meaning anyone could have been waiting.I thought this could be extremely dangerous and especially worrying for any women travelling alone.

Location was great. Bed comfortable. Near stores.

Rooms were dirty. Food stains/debris on floor and furniture. Bathroom fixtures broken. Heater stuck on high. Fans not working. More of a cheap flop house than a 3 or 4 star hotel. Much nicer hotels in same area. Avoid.

We hated staying here so much that we left a day early, something I’ve never had to do before. It’s a complete scam to call this hotel “4 stars”. I’ve attached photos of the broken toilet seat, grimey soap dispenser and scratched up bathroom mirror. Terrible facilities and I cannot believe we had to spend so much to stay here.

    4AndrewPosted on: 9-30-2025

Great location. Bed comfortable. Easy check in/out.

Hand held shower head had large black mold patch! Floor dirty, food stains on walls and furniture. Refrigerator ran so hot room smelled of burning wood.

Staff was very good. Beer and water in mini fridge was nice. Coffee maker was excellent. Was quiet for being in a city.

Breakfast was okay. Room was smaller than expected.

The location is ok. 15 minutes by walking. The facility is clean. The staff is super friendly. There is free water, tea, coffee and fruit in lobby. The staff helped us with early checkin. Overall great for the low price.

The room could be bigger. Rooms are a little bit hard to find

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for visiting central Amsterdam. The hardwood floors and marble in the bathroom are beautiful!

It was not super light in the room even with the lights on. And the wallpaper was a bit worn.

    9VictorPosted on: 7-19-2025

The staff is very friendly, helpful and accomadating.

    The bed was very small

    7CeciliaPosted on: 6-3-2025

Great location to Vondelpark, shops, good cafes and restaurants and close to public transport. Room was on the smaller side but bed was comfy and there was a decent amount of storage. Housekeeping came daily.

Hotel was in an interesting building, though not necessarily a negative. Was easy to find the reception. The bathroom was not great, specifically the shower. It flooded right away the first night causing water to spread around the floor. It got progressively worse each time as our stay went on. One of the nights we came back to no power in our room which was unusual, however someone from the other hotel across the courtyard was able to help us and fix it.
