    Pros +

    • Women-Only-RoomsMinicards for Seightseeingfree Wifi
    • Good value. Friendly stuff. Shared bathroom was clean and convenient. Just step away from room.
    • Given lowest accomodation price in such a tourist-crowded destination, I hadn't expected much. However, value for money ratio is spectacular. Beds are clean, comfortable and with a fresh set of bed linen. It's warm everywhere, although there are windows in rooms if guests prefer to ventilate them. Toilets are regularly cleaned and in good condition. Rooms are cleaned daily, too. There are shelves (not lockers) to store your belongings in a room. There is 24-hour reception available. Guests receive magnetic chip cards, so the hostel is as safe as possible. My room had two pairs of doors, so noise from the common corridor was not heard in the room. All in all, it's nearly too good to be true at this price. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next stay in Amsterdam.

    Cons -

    • Stairs
    • It's not a drawback, just a note: stairs are highly steep, so it's not a place for people with a walking disability.
    • Unfortunately, my stay was not comfortable and I had to cancel shortly after spending just one night instead of the 3 i booked. The room was very small and overcrowded, the toilets were dirty, and the building is very old. The stairs were difficult to use, which made the accommodation unsuitable for me. Overall, in my opinion the hostel did not meet basic comfort and hygiene expectations.

    Maybe it's just budget friendly.

Bunk beds are like a skeleton and thin stick size.Share toilet is, you cannot turn around for fixing your clothes.

Very little. The staff were friendly but not very helpful.

Cleanliness(shared facilities particularly disgusting), noise at night, although the staff are friendly there not much help

    The location was central

Dirty rooms, uncomfortable beds, noisy at night, and unhelpful staff.

    Easy to let yourself in/out

My room had black mold up the entire corner of my room, hidden by the pattern on paint, I found 2 bed bugs during my stay (3 nights) and I was also sat waiting at reception for 20 minutes without recognition whilst waiting to check in.

Super great value, clean facilities and nice and helpful staff. Good neighborhood with lots of restaurants and supermarkets.

A bit too far from downtown, but public transport works great and there is a tram station right in front of it.

    10KarolPosted on: 11-7-2025

The hostel was extremely clean. There is a lovely cafe to have breakfast on the other side of the street. It takes 9 minutes to get to the local station from which you can take the express train to the Amsterdam Central train station. There is a tram right outside. 24/7 reception. Clean mattresses and sink in the room.

No kitchen, quite steep stairs, 2 euro for ear plugs, 10 euro for a towel (I think 6 for towel and 4 deposit).

Good service, they were really friendly, they gave us candy for Halloween. Really clean and they managed to accomodate our group in a room only for us. Great service and for the price is really worth it

The stairs are a little complicated. Lockers are a little bit small.

Super clean — easily 10/10 for hygiene. Rooms are quite small and beds just okay. It’s a tram ride from the city center. Staff is friendly, there is also a shopping area by the corner for the essentials.Overall, we think it's better suited for budget travelers who just need a clean place to sleep.

There are lots of stairs and steep ladders, so it’s tricky with luggage, so it’s not ideal if you have heavy luggage or mobility issues.Lockers don’t actually lock and there’s no space for your own padlock, which would feel a bit inconvenient, i we didn't have a room only for our group. No towels to rent, only for sale for 10 euros.

Public transport and shops around the hostel. Super friendly staff. Location 7/10.

Small rooms, no private bathroom [we knew that before arriving]. Room could be hoovered a bit better. Room heater seemed to work only during the first night.

    7LisaPosted on: 10-29-2025

Excellent location, right next to trams and sprinter station. Staff very nice and helpful:)Bathroom and shower very clean.

Our bed blankets didn’t look clean, they had other peoples hair on it and there was brown stains on the curtains and the room was very humid.

    5MatheoPosted on: 10-6-2025

the location and access to public transport

the stairs were deadly, and with heavy luggage and no elevator… even worse

    6NathaliaPosted on: 10-1-2025

Good location and price was ok.

Small rooms, terrible stairs to go up and noisy.

    2BrookePosted on: 9-22-2025

    Not great

Had a room on the 5th floor. Only stairs the entire way. Small staircases. The 5th staircase was very difficult navigating. It was tight and steep. The sink in our room also was leaking from underneath

    8AbdulPosted on: 9-11-2025

Good budget hotel. Simple room. Clean. Easy tram links to the centre in about 15 mins. Lots of shops literally at the back of the hotel. Park, restaurants and supermarkets nearby.

Very very very steep stairs. Fine for me but maybe not everyone. Nothing else bad really. A good budget option
