- Location
- Location was excellent
- Friendly and helpful staff, good location just a few hundred meters from the central station. There's restaurants, stores and entertainment very close. Staffed 24/7 which made me feel better about the stay.
Cons -
- The bed was gritty and uncomfortable, it was dirty , there was cat poo in the hallways and had a disgusting smell in the corridor and room , it was loud in the corridor and was very loud within the night and it was all round a disgusting experience, would never book again ,waste of money and highly disappointed
- To in the rooms but the leads not long enough to plug in and was told at reception they don’t work. Shame. As this type of trip involves alit of walking so nice to come home of evening and put tv on before going sleep.
- The room is like a prison cell, not for the sensitive guest. It's very minimal, not even a coat hanger. Everything except the sink and the sheets were dirty, there were clear stains of what looked like bodily fluids on the walls and curtains. I checked for bed bugs, but found no traces. Shower had no light and water barely came out of the nozzle. There were actual debris in the corners, so not cleaned properly in some time. There's no sound isolation at all, so don't expect to sleep well since you will hear coughing and banging doors all night. Ear plugs is a must. The towels seemed clean, but had a weird smell - better than nothing. A small bar of soap and a small plastic bag containing shampoo is offered, barely enough for one shower. There is one toilet per floor, so expect to stand in line and that people pull the handle while you're in there. The toilet was also dirty and people clearly smoked weed in there, even though the receptionist said it was forbidden.I actually feel tricked to pay €120 for one of the worst hotel experiences ever. I've been to hostels that are way better for less.

The only redeeming thing about the place is the location right next to the amsterdam central station
It’s a ran down motel with no redeeming qualities definitely not worth the money paid for and looks nothing like the pictures would rather have stayed in the big hotel chains like ibis that offer everything lacking of this place for the same price.
Bad
Rooms are dirty, the whole hotel smells cigarette, there are unorganized stuff in the middle of the corridors, the room is very old and seems to have no maintenance. The price is very high for a place like that. There are other options with the same price, in the same location far better than this hoStel. It seems to me it was a Hostel, not a hotel.Bad experience.
Its good location but its not clean hotel and the bathrooms has alot of cigarette in the bathroom and not good beds and also not comfortable rooms
It's a perfect, cheap, close-to-the-station room. You get what you pay for but these places can be lifesavers if you need somewhere affordable.
As is often the case with these places, there's no lift and reception's up a narrow flight of stairs, so if you have heavy bags and mobility problems you might want to look elsewhere.
Excellent location, reasonably priced, very clean, very friendly and helpful staff....
the free Wifi was excellent in the large entrance room, where you could have coffee and breakfast but in my room it was not always working.
Our stay in Amsterdam was absolutely unforgettable, and this hotel played a huge role in making the experience so special. From the very first moment, everything exceeded our expectations. The views were simply breathtaking. waking up and looking outside felt like a postcard come to life. Amsterdam is beautiful on its own, but seeing it from this hotel made it even more magical. Whether it was early morning or late evening, the scenery was stunning and truly unforgettable. The location is perfect. Everything is within easy reach. charming streets, canals, cafes, restaurants, and major attractions are all nearby. At the same time, the area feels calm and authentic, allowing you to truly experience the soul of the city. It’s an ideal balance between convenience and atmosphere. The hotel itself is a beautiful traditional Dutch house, full of character and history. If you appreciate old, classic buildings with a warm and authentic feel, this place is perfect. It doesn’t feel like a generic hotel .it feels like a true Amsterdam home, which made our stay feel even more special and unique. The staff deserves special praise. Everyone was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. From check-in to check-out, they made us feel welcome and cared for. Any question we had was answered with a smile, and they were always happy to help with recommendations or anything we needed. Their hospitality truly made a difference. The room was clean, comfortable, and cozy, with great attention to detail. Everything was well maintained, and it was clear that the hotel really cares about the comfort of its guests.Overall, this was an exceptional experience. Amazing views, a fantastic location, a charming traditional building, and wonderful staff . everything came together perfectly. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Amsterdam.Highly recommended to anyone visiting the city. We would absolutely love to stay here again!
Shit!

Location
The room clean went to my room and put my stuff back in my bag and every pocket of bag was went true, only on toilet between 8 rooms. They locked my window so I couldn't open also making room stuffy

The hotel has a great location, 3-4 minutes from the central station. The staff is friendly and genuinely goes out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. A very cool cat living at the reception.
This isn't a hotel, it's a hostel.Hygiene: There are traces of insect excrement on the bed (cockroaches?).Room furniture: It either doesn't match the photo on the website (a white room) or has strange stains. It's very noisy inside the building; there's no soundproofing at all. When I checked in, they gave me a keycard for someone else's room, which woke them up. It's a dangerous practice for the reception to allow someone else to open your room while you're sleeping due to carelessness. This is my first booking where I decided not to stay overnight and moved to another hotel because I was afraid of bringing in any insects to my place. My parcel was lost at the reception. Of course, it is a favour to ask the reception to take over the delayed parcel, but they took it and lost it.
Bad
No toilet no window no cupboard for clothes freezing
Good location The staff was lovely
There was a long term resident living there that had some mental health challenges leading to him sobbing and screaming through out the night and day which can be frightening. The room was dirty on walls, under the bed and stains on bedding
The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the train station giving you perfect access to public transport and a short walk from almost everything else. It's layout is a little unique, after climbing the stairs you exit through a door onto an outdoor walkway and then reenter through another (depending on what number room you are staying in)You have a sink in your room with the toilet and shower room down the hall.Tea and coffee is available with a 24/7 reception.Mia the Cat is a permanent resident keeping mice away.
Breakfast is only available at the weekend or if the hotel is busy.
Disappointing
Tv broken, noisy air vents couldn't sleep
Dirty room pillow had hair on it
Too small and no toilet
The lady at the reception was nice to us. She was visibly upset when we left after half an hour.
We thought we had booked a room with a toilet, but instead there was only a sink and barely any space to move or fit the luggage inside the room. We thought that, for what we paid, we would have access to something better. We decided to upgrade our stay to a room with a toilet, which was on an upper floor. The bathroom was separated by the bedroom by a glass door which didn't cover the length of the wall, and the toilet immediately got clogged. The water wasn't going down and faeces and paper were stuck in the toilet. I went to ask the lady if she had a plunger, to which she suggested I used the toilet brush to shove the faeces down the toilet. I asked her to help as this wasn't a good solution and waited 30 minutes, after which we decided to leave. On top of this, the smell in the hotel was very unpleasant, sweet perfume like it was covering something awful.
Passable
Staircases outside are overpopulated by pidgeons, making those areas dirty.
