    Pros +

    • The location was great, outside of the centre but 1 minute from the tram stop.
    • The location was perfect! Close to all the tourists attractions and transportation. Complimentary drinks and snacks at the lobby always made our day! Breakfast was good too!
    • The bed was comfy and breakfast was good selection. Nice that they offer complimentary drinks.

    Cons -

    • Room was very small, breakfadt was limited but what was there was good
    • The rooms were smaller than what we expected, the exhaust on the bathroom wasn’t really working well. The special request we made from the moment we booked for our rooms to be right next to each other or at least on the same floor wasn’t approved which was a bit of a hassle.
    • The rooms are definitely NOT soundproof, we got woken up every morning around 6ish with staff talking really loud. Our room was right next to reception and it was just so loud for that time in the morning. People coming into the hotel in the room next door at 2am playing music and then again at 5am being really loud (probably drunk) so ended up getting barely any sleep. The bathroom hadn't been properly cleaned as there was a lot of mould buildup in the shower and the carpets hadn't been hoovered properly either. Not allowed to smoke cigarettes on the balcony either which is kind of why I had paid for a room with a balcony but oh well. I understand but wish they had put that in description before I booked it.

Location Free mini bar Friendly staff

There was construction work that started at 7 am

    6JessicaPosted on: 2-17-2026

The bed was very comfortable, good location and public transport options. Free mini was a big plus.

The room is in need of an upgrade. The bathroom had a funny smell and holes in the walls. The shower flitted between hot and cold water. The walls are very thin so can hear people in corridors and floors above you. The room smelt like cigarette smoke upon arrival.

Great location, close to public transit and restaurants. Good breakfast.

Not the cleanest, small rooms, thin walls. We had a couple of party-goers who arrived loudly back in their room around 4am.

Luckily the bed was extremely comfortable. The complimentary drinks downstairs was a great idea if you were staying for a longer period of time you could have a night in.

The room size was extremely too small, was not a fair example with the pictures online so was very deceiving. But there was no room to open your suitcase. It was a very long walk to the city centre or red light district.

Location is good, close to tram stop around 40 mins walk to the Dam centre and 20 to Rembrandt square

The hotel knew and still booked guests with the entire top floor under construction, I was directly below it. AVOID this hotel for a while

    Short but not sweet.

The rooms are not clean. There was a night mask from the previous occupant still on the night stand, which was also not cleaned (you could see a stain from a drink that stayed there). There were stains on the bathroom floor, so I doubt it was cleaned. There was also a strong urine sent in the bathroom and the overall room smelled quite bad.

    Beds are very comfortable

Didn’t tell us about shared balcony, bathroom had limited space but still good

    6RodiannePosted on: 2-9-2026

Good location easy accessible by tram

Cleaning services are very lacking. Reported tv not working and was never fixed. Asked for room cleaning only one day was done.

    6AlexPosted on: 2-8-2026

    Reasonable price and location

Room felt quite Grubby. Poor shower. Noisy neighbours with paper thin walls (wall in fact wasn’t a wall, it was a partition where you could see next door’s light on through the crack, hence noisy man next door was virtually in the same room as usDetritus scattered in corridors. Felt like they didn’t really careBroken window blind and coffee machine Room freezing cold on arrival and bathroom radiator not working

    8GiannisPosted on: 2-1-2026

Very comfortable bed, always hot water for shower and breakfast was full of choices

Minor damages on the room's walls and the fourth floor above us was under constructions, so it was noisy from early in the mornings

    8EleniPosted on: 1-30-2026

The Hotel was very cute, cozy and comfortable at a very convenient and fancy neighborhood! We didn’t try breakfast, but the complimentary drinks and snacks were great idea !

The room and bathroom need little bit of renovation.

    6SvetlozaraPosted on: 1-25-2026

Staff was nice, really good location, tram stop right outside!

The room was tiny, we booked for three people and happened to be only to and it was really tiny even for two. The noises outside of the room were really loud, it was like there were in the room

    8ChukwubuikemPosted on: 1-25-2026

Very welcoming hotel.Nice and clean.Extremely comfortable.

I think building work was happening at the hotel which there was no communication about. This made it quite noisy throughout the stay.

    8LydiaPosted on: 1-25-2026

Great location, nice breakfast, staff were lovely and room was spacious. Really good value, we loved the bar in the lobby offering complimentary snacks and drinks.

The bathroom in the room could have been a bit cleaner. Desk wasn’t always manned with staff sometimes not hearing the bell.

They take reservations through Booking, but when there's a problem with all the information being wrong, they say you should have booked through our own website. The hotel is really bad, the staff doesn't solve any problems, they charge extra for everything. Don't come to this hotel.

    6StephenPosted on: 1-19-2026

While the hotel’s central location is a plus, the actual stay was very poor. The room was pathetic—extremely cramped with barely enough space to open our luggage, and the bathroom had visible mold. I requested an upgrade at check-in, but the staff never got back to me, even after stating they might have availability on the second day. The service was hit-or-miss, and although the breakfast was okay, the disappointment of the room and the missing balcony ruined our stay.

    6RachelPosted on: 1-18-2026

staff were lovely and good location, breakfast and complimentary drinks were amazing!

rooms extremely small and outdated, mould around the windows where it hadn’t been cleaned properly, splatters on tiles in bathroom where cleaning hadn’t been quoted thorough enough and the temperature in the shower was very intermittent
