Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam - South By IHG

The staff members are excellent and helpful. The breakfast is great. The location is a somewhat remote but is walking distance to a natural forest park, and it suits us just right. This is the best choice I have made in my trip.

Just a little far from most of the city attractions. However, it is close to a tram station. Not really bad.

Great location to public transportaction, eateries and small business.

Easy access to train, walk distance to amenities. Nice staff.

Shower would change from hot to cool water. Strong smell coming from the drain.

It had a great Kosher breakfast. And pretty good service.

There was a finger nail on my floor and when i told the staff, they only apologized. It has been my experience that hotels usually offer a discount or free stay as compensation for such gross-ness.

The location was perfect for my purposes, and it was a very nice experience overall. The staff was excellent, especially Beatrix.

The hotel does not accept cash, which is an important point, as international travelers usually prefer this method of payment.

The only drawback is that there is no safe in the rooms and the TV has basic content.

a/c did not work - a bit cold night but hotel offered heaters, decent breakfast, a bit stronger water pressure would be welcomed

Overall, everything was okay and the free breakfast was a nice bonus. The hotel is clean and comfortable, with friendly service.

The only drawback is the location — it’s quite far from the city center. Although there’s a nearby station, I often ended up using taxis to save time during my stay.
