This boat is located in the center of Amsterdam on the Oosterdok, opposite Nemo Science Museum and a 10-minute walk from Central Station. Passengership Avanti offers functional accommodations with free Wi-Fi. The cabins are authentically decorated with wooden bunk beds, a wardrobe space and a traditional porthole facing the water and the dock. The bathroom facilities are shared. Breakfast is served daily and includes a variety of items, such as bread, ham, cheeses and various other spreads, yogurt, cereals and a selection of juices. Complimentary tea and coffee are available all day. Nieuwmarkt is 13 minutes by foot. From there it is 7 more minutes to Dam Square. Lively Rembrandtplein is 0.9 mi away. From Central Station you have direct access to Leidseplein and Museumplein.

Pros +

  • The breakfast room was nice. It was an experience to be able to stay on a boat. The boat moves mooring so you get a ride to the next mooring during breakfast.
  • I liked the locations the views in the morning and night were amazing! Staff was kind and professional, very attentive as well. It's definitely a whole experience, and it was my first time sleeping in a boat in ams.

Cons -

  • The room was very stuffy and hot even with the portal open. There was a lot of noise until midnight which also made it hard to sleep. The bathroom/toilet facilities were small. However it is a boat so expected. I just didn't expect it to be so small.
  • Small beds and same breakfast but can not be too picky. Overall, it was wonderful and would book again
