The guy at the front desk was very helpful and kind. He got us our room very quickly despite dealing with an impatient angry guest at the same time. He even gave us a courtesy call after we got the room to make sure everything is fine.

The location, the pool, the rooms, the workers.
The bedding had a stain on the sheets but the rest of the room was great. Was very Smokey though as the aircon took in the smoke from outside. Would have loved a heads up to not use the aircon as it made me ill the next day.

The American flags and patriotic stuff. Its why we choose the hotel
The rooms were clean and had plenty of space, especially the bathroom. The parking lot was well lit throughout the night, giving a safe feeling. The bed was very comfortable. Also liked the touch of colored towels. Something you don't see in hotels.

- Public transportation in Red Bluff is limited, with about 95% of travelers choosing rental cars. Reserve parking in advance, especially for oversized vehicles or trailers, and verify complimentary options during booking.
- Many Red Bluff hotels close front desks after 22:00. Double-check your property’s check-in, key pickup, and late arrival process at least 24 hours ahead to avoid access issues.
- Pet fees and restrictions can range from $15 to $75 per stay and often include breed or size limits. Verify pet policies—fees, deposits, and room location—directly with your hotel before traveling.
- Wi-Fi speed in Red Bluff may range from 5-25 Mbps. Request a room furthest from road traffic for quieter calls and meetings. Confirm availability of a work desk if you need a workspace.
- Wildfire season (June-November) can affect air quality and accessibility. Monitor Cal Fire and AQI alerts before and during your stay. Ask staff about emergency exits and locate St. Elizabeth Community Hospital, 1.2 mi from downtown.
- Customary U.S. tips: $15 per bag for bell staff, $15 per night for housekeeping (leave daily), and 15-20% at restaurants. Adjust for exceptional service.
- Ask hotel staff for current recommendations on dining (like Los Mariachi’s, 2 mi south) or top fishing spots on the Sacramento River. Local insights often update weekly.
- Summer highs reach 90-105°F; pack lightweight layers, SPF 30+ sunscreen, and sturdy closed-toed shoes for river trails. Use EPA-registered insect repellent and watch for rattlesnakes, especially within 1 km of the Sacramento River.

- Expect Tehama County’s Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) of 10-12% plus California state sales tax on your total bill. Verify actual tax before booking, as rates can differ by jurisdiction.
- Mobile coverage can drop along the outskirts and in nearby parks. Download offline maps prior to travel and ask staff about the strongest networks in your area.

- Laundry facilities are not standard in Red Bluff motels; ask if guest laundry is available on-site or check for laundromats within 1 mi. Useful for stays of 3 or more nights.
- Seasonal outdoor pools typically operate May-September with hours from 10:00 to 20:00. Confirm your pool’s schedule in advance, especially if visiting off-peak.
