Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel

The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and professional.

Our room had locked windows overlooking construction discussed on website. The room was uncomfortably hot and we could not lower the thermostat OR open the windows.

Location and breakfast

Cleaning staff did not seem to understand when we wanted our room cleaned. Had to go ask for towels and make own bed on occasion

The location is amazing. The hotel is clean and the food is good, staff are polite and helpful.

Amazing front desk and navigator staff. Gave us great directions and suggestions for best ATM to use for lowest fee, gave us discount coupon for bicycle rentals. Rooms were spacious and clean with lovely amenities. Huge tub for long soaks after tours.

Even though I upgraded to "Larger Double Room", the room felt small. When booking, the reservation stated free mini bar, wifi and "welcome gift" -- none of those things were true. Electricity issues. Too much smoking at entrance around hotel.

stayed here for 2 nights. The location is awesome. The customer serviced wasn't good. Check-in was at 3 and I didnt get my room till 6:00. I had to stand in a long line multiple times to check if my room was ready. The room was nice. The mini fridge was

Location location location! Great spot close to everything. Be sure to get the "I Am Amsterdam" card for free access to most museums and the tram for transport. Breakfast and business lounge were fun!

Bathroom would be only concern with less than clean smell-was the shower curtains.Did not see pull out sofa bed. Made it work for three. Difficult to book correct room, maybe me?

Location was great. Hotel was less than I expected for the price.

Don't say you have Wi-Fi at the hotel when you need to pay 10 euro/24 hrs. In this day in age if Wi-Fi is listed as an amenity then it should be included especially considering the price of this hotel

Location and friendly staff. Also the guests are more refined than the average Amsterdam tourist.

Like every other 5 star hotel in the center of Amsterdam, it is tiny and cramped and more akin to a motel room in North America. However compared to other 5 star hotels in the center, its nicer and more luxurious than most.

The location was great, rooms are nice size and very clean with a great staff. I would definitely return to this hotel in the future.
