Pros +
- Central location and clean room.
- Very clean and modern room, good location, friendly and helpful staff, easy 24h access with card, room was tiny but had everything I needed, good value, no sounds from other rooms. Great if you have very little luggage and don't mind walking up stairs to 4th floor.
- Excellent location. Close to Centraal Station and tons of food options. The restaurant/bar downstairs is convenient. The place is dated but very clean and the bed was comfy.
Cons -
- Bathroom door was glass with a mirror on the wall outside the bathroom, which showed the person using the toilet. Shower got water everywhere when used. The half door doesn’t contain the water from the shower.
- Very cold in room, thin blanket, slept with sweater on. Splintered wood from door that had been broken open previously wasn't repaired (room 9). Uncovered wire connector ("kroonsteentje") connecting two live electricity cables hanging down dangerously above bed near feet instead of being placed in a closed box on the wall where nobody can accidentally pull it off and electrocute themselves. Near noisy street. No elevator. No luggage storage.
- I would not recommend the 4th floor. There is no lift and the stairs are very narrow. The staff was kind enough to bring my bag up but it was difficult coming back down without help. The room was in the attic with a sloped ceiling that left little room for anything besides the bed. No space for a small suitcase, making it difficult to even open the bathroom door. Suitable for one night for a solo light traveler.

Close to everything
Everything around it including the restaurant below is very expensive, no free water for example in the hotel
Staff were excellent. Location very good.
The need to carry suitcases up three flights of stairs. People need to be made aware of this before booking.
Location, great restaurant and awesome staff!
Stairs galore, be aware. But that’s Europe for you.
Great location! Close to the train station and not far from the city center too.
Just know you have to climb very narrow stairs to get to the rooms at the top! (They were not bad but just something to be aware of if you have mobility issues).
What I really liked was the friendly and welcoming treatment provided by the staff! Everyone was very accommodating, respectful and professional. Having the restaurant downstairs was a huge perk and the food is delicious as well. I have loved the location which is near everything one needs for a great time in this vibrant city. Including transportation, food, entertainment and even a police station.
The four flights of narrow stairs are not for the faint of heart! People with mobility issues may want an alternative solution. But we managed. And a few details didn't quite add up. i.e. TVs in our rooms were not working, toilet seat cover being way too lose, the electronic key card was temperamental and didn't always allowed me into my room... Hello stairs!!! All of these minor and mild annoyances are part of the experience of travelling anyway, I was happy to overlook, specially once I met the hotel owners! Wonderful, hard working and most generous people.
Location
4th floor booked room (54 narrow steps to room, felt like I was going to have a heart attack carrying 3 suitcases) ; no elevator in building; No air conditioner and was very hot on the 4th floor. Had to request 2 fans.
It’s a great location. Right in the middle of two different sides of the city, easy access to transportation and things to do. Very clean room, spacious bathroom.
I don’t think it is stated in the property description, but there is no elevator. If you’re traveling with luggage, keep this in mind, as it is very steep and narrow on the way up. We ended up on the third floor, there are 4 in total.
Honest price. Will never come back.
The room was extremely small on 4th floor no elevator. Safety box was broken. Shower water leak on the luggage. After checking out i asked for luggage storage- they don't do that!! If you have late flight, your luggage will stay with you .
I never saw anything that said there is no elevator to transport our suitcases. We were on the 4th floor and you have to carry your suitcases up 4 winding staircases, unless you can get someone to help you,(We were fortunate and a nice employee helped us). The rooms are small and not a lot of space for your suitcases. The beds were comfortable, however noise late into the night, and sirens going off most of the night as well, bring earplugs. Bathrooms need some maintenance, our shower head was broke off of its hook, so you have to hold it in your hand while taking a shower. They made your bed and gave you new towels everyday. Great location and the restaurant was very nice and the people wer very friendly.
The staff was amazing, especially the Manager Ali. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was perfect and everything, including the train station was nearby. The food downstairs was really, really good.
It was a bit noisy in that area but still worth it.
Great location. Nice staff.
Our room number 11 was on 4th floor. Very small room with walls slanted to inside. Very easy to hit your head. I am 6 feet tall and slept with my feet hanging over the edge. Friends had a room on another floor and they had bigger bedroom, bigger bathroom and more space.
It was clean and comfortable. The location was excellent. The restaurant and bar downstairs was great. The staff were friendly.
It was a real disappointment that we were not able to leave our bags in a safe room before we could check into our rooms. We had to carry heavy bags around until 2pm when we arrived around 12. A courtesy room would have made a real difference.
Location
Noise level -street but also the restaurant below putting their outdoor furniture away at midnight and out again in early morningCheck in is in restaurant by the bar No cleaning of room other than towels Large windows with curtains that do not close properly Very thin walls and floors hear all the neighbours
Great location, only 8 minutes walk to central train station. Most attraction are in walking distance or short ride by tram.
Super expensive.
Location was on a tram line and within walking distance to all of the attractions we wanted to visit. The room was quiet with the window overlooking a quiet street. Housekeeping occurred daily.
We knew there would be steep steps, but at times it might for an arduous climb. The shower was walk in with partial glass panels. Water did spray from the shower head into the bathroom space creating a wet floor.
Clean, friendly staff, well placed, quiet
The stairs were a bit tricky to navigate especially in the lighting. Our shower was also broken
Location was good. That is the only plus point but keep in mind it is very noisy as it is on main road
No help from staff at all. Room does not have basic facilities such as kettle, tissue paper, toiletries. . They asked for 50 euro for keeping luggage for 30 mins after checkout time . Stairs are so narrow to go to room
