Location was excellent. Rooms were comfortable and staff very helpful.

The location and the price

No tea or coffee facilities in the room, had to pay for them in the lobby, very noisy location/ room, Also certain guests where very loud at early hours of the morning, alot of slamming doors (not soft close)

This is an excellent hotel. From check-in to check-out, I experienced outstanding service. The reception staff are very helpful, available, and welcoming. Even before and during the email exchanges to confirm the reservation, Mr. Christian and his colleagues were all very responsive and provided invaluable assistance.The breakfast was excellent, and especially the welcome from Ms. Martina. A very smiley, welcoming young woman with an angelic smile. Having traveled extensively worldwide and stayed in several 5-star hotels and even palaces, I can confirm, without exaggeration, that the Rho Hotel deserves its place among the best 5-star hotels.

Nothing special. Everything was perfect.

Breakfast was good and also the location of the hotel is great. You walk out directly to the city centre and this is why I have chosen the place because of the location.

It was a bit noisy outside the window, but its the city itself so its ok. But I was not expecting much so its ok.

The location was very convenient (about a 15-minute walk from Central Station and right at Dam Square). It was close to many restaurants and cafés. The reception staff were very helpful and answered all of my questions.

In general, the room’s sound insulation was poor. We stayed in Room 209, which was facing the street, and we could hear both noise from inside the hotel and from outside. Normally, cars do not pass through that street during the day, so I believe this mainly happened in the early morning. At that time, a municipal vehicle came by, and it was so loud that it was impossible to sleep. Every passing vehicle in the morning made a lot of noise, almost echoing through the street. There were gaps around the window frame, so the sound came straight in. Even with the window closed, both noise and cold air were noticeable. The heating worked well and we did not feel cold, but the noise was extremely disturbing. I would strongly recommend installing a second inner window for better sound insulation, as the building across the street had this.

Location is perfect

Room was very, very basic and also weirdly dark, weak lightbulbs and little natural light. Two singles pushed together but no way to "lock" that. Breakfast was not great either so we went out instead. 100% worst coffee ever. Think Travelodge but slightly clearner and that's The Rho.

Location of the hotel is fantastic, staff was super friendly and helpful, lobby has options to buy drinks, snacks and coffee, room was large enough, bed was comfortable, wifi was available throughout the building

Bathrom was quite large, but very cold both in temperature and design and the water pressure was subpar. No waterboiler in the room. Other guests were clearly hearable trough the walls (hotel provides earplugs).

Everything about the place was amazing from start to finish

Room was quiet spacious could do with updating no tea or coffee facilities in the room dirty marks on walls but part from that it was a good stay

Location Hot water in tap comes very quickly in winter

It was nice to be close to wonderful bakeries and the boats. The walking distance to main attractions in Amsterdam was none too far.

Rooms are very big! Right in the center.

Thin walls, we could hear when our neighbours arrived or left or other noises. But they gave us feee earbuds.

The hotel’s location is perfect, just a short walk from most attractions and the train station. The rooms are clean and spacious enough. Comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast, very abundant and with options for all tastes, both sweet and savory.

The rooms and bathroom show their age and could use some renovation. I was on the third floor and wanted to use the stairs instead of the elevator, but I couldn’t figure out how to go down since each floor is laid out differently and there isn’t a single unified staircase system; this made me think that in case of a building evacuation during a fire alarm, there could be a big problem getting out

The location is ideal right near Madame Taussauds in central Amsterdam and you can easily walk to alnost anywhere.We were lucky with this last minute booking.The staff were really great and the breakfast was very good

The only thing we could find not quite as good as it could be was the triple room that we had to go through the garage area to get to and which was very noisy at night but we completely understand that booking about an hour before arrival meant that we could only get a room that wasn't already booked and the other 2 double rooms we had were great

Cleanliness, dated dirty decor and flooring. Awful rude aggressive staff

Hotel location was excellent, the room was clean with nice view and with good heating (during the winter period) with hot water available all the time which are both very important, especially during winter.

Both the bathroom and the room could have been more modern and the breakfast could have included a better variety.

Great value for money, very clean staff were friendly. Great location just off Dam Square
