Pros +
- Extremely convenient location, friendly staff
- The location of the hotel was excellent for travel around Amsterdam- with a tram line and stop outside of the hotel plus a metro stop at the end of the road couldn¿t have asked for better. The rooms, although basic, were clean and comfortable.
- Location was ok
Cons -
- I wish my room had had a fridge, or that there had been somewhere to keep perishable food. Also, it would be nice if the breakfast area were open to hotel guests for seating outside breakfast hours.
- The steps were very steep into the property but this is to be expected with a period property. Once inside there is a lift to all floors, which is excellent!
- They never changed our towels in the four nights we spent. And room had dust on all surfaces.

Location was ok
They never changed our towels in the four nights we spent. And room had dust on all surfaces.
Room was comfortable, quiet and spacious enough for two people. The closet space was mostly taken by the ironing board and other appliances but other than that, the room was good. They have a breakfast option of 12 Euros, which is pretty fair, but I haven't tried it so can't say anything about the quality. Location is good. The metro station is 2 min walk away and you can simply walk to the city center in 20 min from here, which is what we did.
Closet space was not enough. The one closet they have in the room had the ironing board, one fan and the iron stored inside, which took up most of the space.
Location is good.
The bed in the room was not a bed. It was a foam mattress placed on a sofa-like furniture. There was a half of a pillow. Even their linen was bigger than the pillow, they had to fold it to fit. I requested another room with a normal bed, or otherwise to change the bed in the room. The lady in the reception told me they were full and they did not have an extra bed to change the one in that specific room.
Staffs were so helpful and friendly.
Not walkable and beds.
Location is very good. Near to tram. Cleanliness...friendly staff. Good room. Enough hot water..has electric heater extra with ironing board and iron box
The sound from upper floor. If someone walks we can hear it
I really enjoyed my leisure stay at Hotel Allure. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, and everything was well maintained. The location was very convenient for getting around and exploring the city, and the hotel offers great value for money. I would happily stay here again and recommend it.
very nice hotel. close to the downtown erea. very safe location and calm. a lot of facilities near by. I liked it.
Very clean hotel, clean room.checking in was easy and straightforward.near transport, tram and metro, you could also walk to centraal station,we had fun walking and taking photos as well.highly recommended hotel.we had a fantastic stay.
The people staying above our room was noisy, hearing their footsteps seems like jumping.
Easy access to metro and trams to get to main centre. Supermarket just a short walk away. Nice and quiet at night.
Nothing but location. Other than this you will not find any single benefit and will loose your money. Be aware you will get a dusty smell basement room with regular room renovation.
Booked a regular room and ended the room assigned was in the basement. The room was so tiny and one by two foot basement window with no curtain. The room wasn’t advertised as a basement room. Very dusty and bad smell. After too much debates with the staff I had to cancel the reservation and they insisted to charge me a one night with no reason for them being at fault already. The lady ate the reception went to check the room herself and she admitted that the room is very depressing. Had to find another hotel same day for our stay with a very high price due to short in time.
The location was right in the tram line and a really short walk to the underground trains, so was ideal to walk around to see things and get to places. The reception staff were super friendly. The hotel itself was simply decorated, clean, and comfortable. The room was small for us, but only as we had two single beds. If we pushed them together, it gave us more space. The facilities were adequate for what we needed. We were in the lower level that looked out into the lower back patio. We had a dual door/window, so we hung milk and cheese in a bag on the fence as a 'fridge' so we could make our own coffee and tea, and make cheese sandwiches for breakfast. Eating out was very expensive, so we tried to cut that expense so we could go to more of the amazing museums. Our room was quiet, with only people who came out to smoke cigarettes-that being said, they smoked away from our doorway, so we never had to close up. You are not allowed to smoke weed in that area, which was really appreciated.
We loved everything. No improvements are needed.
One metro train away from main Amsterdam, the stations at the end of the road good stay
Everything was okay.
I didn't like the pillow because it was to high, and when I asked for a thinner one it was delivered 2 days after because they were fully booked and didn't have spare ones. I have health problems, so a good pillow is important for me.
Great location. Very close to tram and metro & most major attractions. Any issues, the staff are super friendly and helpful. Great value for money if you're doing a short stay in Amsterdam.
The hotel was very clean. The beds were comfortable, although a little soft. The facilities were great. The staff were friendly and helpful
I had a very good sleep: room was good, bed was good, clean bathroom and a very nice location. Small balcony, but ok.
A lot of difference in staff: some were nice, but some were just completely without any energy. When I did the check in, the staff member barely said anything, didn't explain things, just waiting for another question and answering it without any energy. It made a bad first impression. Luckily there were also staff members who were more approachable. If you work in hospitality you will need a bit joy, or at least pretend it, because it didn't make me feel welcome at all. Breakfast was ok, but not worth 12,50 in my opinion.
Helpful and friendly staff, both on reception and domestic, especially our wonderful cleaner. A really nice room with balcony and view over courtyard, comfortable and clean. Close to the metro stop and also a really good supermarket.
Would have been nice to have an option of milk portions as well as coffee creamer. Tea needs actual milk I think!
Close to Metro station so linked to all of Amsterdam. As we were working an Exhibition at the RAI the iron and ironing board were greatly appreciated.Bathroom clean and modern and shower very good with plenty of hot water.
Had 2 single beds.
