The location and the lovely staff behind the bar downstairs

I booked 2 queens thinking it would make the room bigger but it was the oddest layout and the air con was broken so it was freezing until the lovely staff turned it off for us completely. If anyone at the hotel reads this I think adding a full length mirror would be beneficial as that would also add another getting ready spot. The sink/mirror area was small and kinda odd.

Great staff who checked us in quickly and showed us to our room! Location was perfect and close to downtown, canal view with a tram stop very close. Room was clean and modern with AC and mini fridge.

Price was a little high for the size of the room, very narrow stairway leading up to the 4th floor that our room was on. Not sure some people would be able to make it up those stairs. The “TV” was a projector that was hard to understand and control. And the Pub downstairs was very loud until midnight, but there was an event going on in Amsterdam the weekend we were there so it might not always be that way.

No particular dislikes. An elevator would have made it easier to get to and from the 3rd floor with luggage.

The location was great! Very close to all the attractions, but also sort of away from the crowd.

The room that we stayed in there was no door to the toilet.

Very very very small room. No place to open the suitcase except on the bed. No elevator. The stairs are horrible. Very difficult for older person to use the stairs.

Very cozy room, the amenities are GREAT, the staff is also super kind and friendly! The location is perfect!

The cleaning should be better, but nothing that makes the stay bad. I feel like the cleaning staff should be bigger… maybe they are less people cleaning than the hotel needs? I don’t know. And, of course, like most the hostels in the region, they don’t have a lift/elevator.

The location is perfect, likely couldn’t be better. The staff member helped me carry my suitcase up to the fourth floor.

The bathroom wasn’t clean enough; the toilet lid was dirty and unpleasant. The bed was very small—I’m 156 cm tall, and even for me, the bed felt too short. The electronic door lock didn’t work properly, constantly beeping until the door was slammed shut. Additionally, the mechanical door lock was broken. Moreover Room service didn’t arrive until 6 p.m., by which time I was already back from my walk and didn’t want any cleaning in my room. There is no door to enter the bathroom, just a curtain separating it from the common area. I didn’t mind, as I was traveling alone. WiFi didn’t work properly as well. There is no elevator, and the stairs are steep and narrow, making it challenging to carry luggage up or down without risking a fall.

We checked out at 8 a.m and unfortunately there were no one not help us with the luggage so we had to bring them down by ourselves from the third floor. However, when we arrived the they took our luggage to the room

Very unique hotel, located right downtown. We tried the black room which was a little bit darker than expected, but ok for the time we stayed. Would be nice to have more space for your stuff though. Would not recommend for people that have a hard time getting up and down stairs. Steep and narrow and dim lightings, super friendly staff and comfortable bed

Location was fabulous, rooms were quirky and stylish.

We had 3 rooms at the hotel. However the bathroom, toilet and shower rooms did not allow for any privacy. They were situated in the middle of the room with open glass doors which didn't cover floor or ceiling. The dark room did not have any privacy at all on the toilet or the shower with clear glass doors and mirrors directly opposite the shower and toilet were other guests in the room could see and hear everything. Not very nice at all. We did mention this to staff as this is not mentioned anyway on site or website.

Room was very dirty, wasn’t cleaned daily and nothing was topped up throughout stay. Lighting in room was so poor it was hard to get ready.

Great location and cool features (the funky light in the room and projector instead of screen); the lady at Reception was super nice & helpful

Unfortunately the funky light in my room was not working, so the bedroom had no light at all and I couldn’t use the screen either - the switch was tripping and there was nothing the staff could help with, especially after 11 pm when the staff was gone.Also bear in mind it’s an old building and there is no lift, and the stairs are steep

The hotel staff are the best, all of them, no exceptions. Polite, respectful, and accommodating. I had an unexpected issue with the room I booked, and I brought that to their attention after getting into the room. I was instantly accommodated with an upgraded room without any hesitation or nonsense arguments, they were completely honest and fair. I am completely satisfied with their action and attitude. In addition, I find the hotel unique, clean, and fun (with the free club access). Great location too.

I don't have anything I don't like. There is a club at the hotel, I knew that, I brought earplugs, and the sound was not that bad initially. All is good and I slept very well.

Noor, David and shenay (sorry if misspelt) were so brilliant, they were super helpful and kind and axe my stay very comfortable. Loved the location!
