    • Nice boat and a cute room. This was perfect for a short solo trip. The free ferry from central station made this so easy to get to and from. The shower was also much better than I expected. So happy there was a good coffee machine in the dining area.
    • Original beautiful, location excellent, staff amazing, exceptionally clean and well maintained premises Would stay again before any where else in Amsterdam

    Cons -

    • No real complaints!
    • We rented two rooms and one was fine but the other did not have the a/c working the first night [to my knowledge the staff were not aware and nobody was there by this time]. The room was very hot and stuffy and no windows can be open [the downside to a boat]. So that first night was bad for that room [fine for the other]. But when we came back from the museum the next day, the a/c was working! What a difference! The ferry runs 4x per hour but only during typical busy times. When needing to leave in the morning we had to leave very early because there were no boats at 7:30am So it is good to know the ferry schedule during those non-commuting hours before you make plans. The response on the Bookings site is somewhat slow [usually not the same day]. It is because there are very few people working and their main job is as a restaurant that is open for dinner. There is not someone "on-duty" all the time and through the night. It is fine, but just important to be aware of this.
    • Statyed just 1 night. :/Could nitpick how there was a bit dusty on the trim above the bed and 1 towel I belive was stained, not dirty. But pretty minute stuff which you should not value, just enjoy being in a historic timecapsule.

This is a great choice for short stays in A'dam. The cabins are cozy and comfortable. It's nice to be on the water and away from A'dam's busy center, yet close by..The breakfast spread is decent, the views are great, and the area around the hotel has lots of great dining and shopping options.

    No real complaints!

It was a very unique place full of charm. The people on staff were all very friendly. Free coffee and tea were available at any time. The location is one pier over from where the free ferry arrives. It was far less expensive to stay over here and we got to stay on a boat.

    1. A SHIP2. Staff 10/103.Location: good excuse to use the ferry, leaves you right next to the doc4.A old SHIP5.A old paddle boat steamer!! Breakfast was good, but the restaurant makes it excellent, felt like I was in 1970, really nice experience, and the selling point of this ship out of them all. Will for sure come here if I visit again, any minor drawbacks are overwhelmed by the whole vibe of the place.

It was amazing. Incredible ambience in a historic and impeccably restored and maintained sea vessel. So many wonderful details for comfort including great hospitality and a fabulous breakfast buffet worth every penny. Just a few steps to the ferry but the immediate area has its own personality and has a lot to offer. Favorite moment was when a swan swam by our eye-level porthole. I wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks for everything! We’ll be back!

    No complaints at all

Classy boat in a great location with a kind host and good accommodations. Breakfast was delicious.

    The rooms could use dehumidifiers.

The Receptionist Anthony was really helpful and kind. The room was really clean. If you have issues with boats moving I would not try it, otherwise this was really fun and it was my first stay in a boat hotel ☺️.

A very comfortable unique stay on a beautiful boat. Cabin very comfortable and much bigger than expected. Delicious breakfast with views over the harbour. Hosts very friendly and helpful. The area around the hotel is interesting: huge graffiti art gallery and cool restaurants such as Pllek. Very handy for the flea market too. Free ferries to central station and Jordaan are frequent and really easy to use as are nearby bus services. A great experience.

It’s a totally different experience from a normal hotel stay , the free ferry to and from centraal works like a bomb

Would be nice to have simple meal option for dinner in the evening

From the second we stepped on to the boat, greeted with a friendly smile, from the second we stepped off, we had the best time. To reach the boat, its a short (10 mins) trip on a free ferry from the Central Main Station, which run every 30 minutes. I was slightly apprehensive thinking that I'd booked to stay on a boat in Amsterdam but I am so pleased I did, it was such an experience. The rooms were immaculate, small but perfect and had everything I needed i.e. hairdryer and soft towels. The beds were comfortable and sound proofing was good. Every inch of the boat was clean and felt fresh. There was tea and coffee available day and night and the 'main man' Richard couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. Personally, I haven't got anything negative to say about this accommodation and I would definitely book this again.

    Nothing, loved it all.

Baie lekker slaapplek. Ligging is maklik bereikbaar met gratis veerboot diens tot vlak by jou slaapplek. Die eienaar is vriendelik en behulpsaam en loop die ekstra myl vir jou. Sal beslis langer wil bly volgende keer.

It was a very great experience. Retro-vibes big time and a super nice host. Also the breakfast was marvellous. But the best thing is the boat itself with the beautiful interior. It is very easy to get to the location by taking the ferry for free from Centraal Station, round about 10 minutes.

    Only rooms downstairs.

Owner was helpful he give lot of information

I stayed there one day next day my train was at 5 pm .. plan was check out keep the luggage there. He (owner) was absolutely ok with that. But next day morning he tell me you have to remove your luggage by 1 pm.. cause he have some renovations. Surprisingly I back at 105 Pm .. discovered without my permission he enter my room and move my luggage outside ..which is not at all acceptable.

Convenient location connected to AmsterdamCentrasl by a 12 min ferry ride that runs every 15 min. This is a unique floating hotel. There are just a small number of rooms, so we felt like we had the common areas to ourselves. Attentive staff.

Rooms are small, but you are allowed to use common areas on the ship which always seemed uncrowded.

I loved my stay here. Room was basic but had everything you need. Lots of shelving space to put things which was useful. The staff were fabulous. I loved the location and everything about it.

It was so different to stay in a ship hotel. Very nice experience. It was so good to have a coffee with the sea view in the hotel restaurant.

Not so much, everything was great. Only it is a bit hard to get back after 20k steps walking around the city.

    8MeshekaPosted on: 11-21-2024

The staff was very welcoming right throughout. I had the pleasure of chatting with the owner/chef who makes a really good omelette every morning upon request. The room was cosy, and it's the best sleep I've gotten in a while. This is close to the free frequent ferry, which goes to Central Station and another that goes Pontsteiger.

We were met by Anthony who guided us around the boat explaining amenities, the history of the boat and recommendations in the area. Anthony is a credit to Kapitein Anna. My favourite part was the breakfast, we had scrambled eggs served hot in little ceramic dishes. The boat was sleepy at this time of the year but we enjoyed the eeriness of it, the sea mist was haunting. We loved waking up to the sea.

I genuinely didn't dislike one thing. The overall experience was just to our taste! I would say that the boat gently sways, so if you are a nauseous person be aware of this.
