    Pros +

    • The staff made us feel welcomed as soon as we arrived and kept our room tidy and clean! It is a little far from the stat
    • the old building (apparently historic ) is renovated. So, the bed was decent but the bathroom had very poor ventilation and has problems with humidities. The bathroom is separated by windows panels and therefore is not very private. We needed to open the windows cause it was warm but it was very noisy outside. It is also relatively far away from the touristy areas. Need to take TRAM 14 that runs every 20 minutes!
    • Convenient location, right in front of a tram stop that goes directly to Amsterdam Centraal. Even if you have luggage with you, it is so easy to get to since you don’t have to walk much. There are restaurants, cafes, bars, and supermarkets close by. The Holocaust Museum is also right across the hotel. Upon entering the room, we were pleasantly surprised to see that they had given us a bigger room than the one we had booked. It was spacious, clean, and had all the necessary amenities. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We appreciated that they made our bed as well as changed our towels daily.

    Cons -

    • I would improve the bathroom ventilation/extraction.I would offer free breakfast to , at least counteract the less ideal location
    • Since our room was facing the street, the sound-proofing was not the best as we could often hear noises during the night.
    • lack of modernism. in 50% of the hotel. we had to change room after 2 nights. also they dont have enough hypoallergenic pillows or comforter.

We did like the location of the hotel. It was convenient to get to by train. The city was very beautiful to tour. It was also easy to walk to many areas.

We were very unhappy with how the hotel handled our reservation. I reached out to your office several times in regards to a change of reservation. We needed to cancel a room as our flight was changed and did not get in until morning. Your hotel refused to give us credit for the 1 night stay per room we had reserved.

Quirky room design, great ease of access to transportation and close enough to walk to most locations.

Shower pressure not great. Water temperature was not consistent.

Great location, close to the center. Nice and clean room. Helpful staff.

    Heigh ceilings

The room was dirty, full of dust on the floor and surfaces. They gave us only two big towels, one of which was as thin as paper. The pillows were not comfortable at all. The door didn’t close properly. The noise isolation doesn’t exist. And they told us it was an upgrade to deluxe room :)

Great staff, great location, easy to access public transport.

Breakfast should be improved a little more. Having same meal a little boring after 2nd day.

Great location by the Zoo, the numer 14 tram stops right outside the hotel, its 15 mins from Central station. Surrounded by some great bars and places to eat its so much nicer than staying in the noist city centre.

The tram stop is right outside the hotel. Also, a lot of European hotels advertise air conditioning but you can barely feel it. Quentin Zoo Hotel had great AC and our room was very comfortable.

Breakfast isn’t included, so if you want breakfast it costs €17.5 per person. Seemed expensive so we passed.

Great staff, comfy bed and clean. Coffee and tea making facilities. Very quiet and a great sleep. Tram stops right outside and right around the corner from the zoo which is a defo recommend. It’s my second time staying here and I will defo be back

The location was good and part of the staff nice.

The hotel was very noisy so sleeping was not easy. The room was without towels when we arrived, but they brought us the towels in 30 min. The coffee machine in the room was broken, it didn’t warm the water up, and it seemed dirty inside as well. The worst part is that I asked for late checkin and they made me go to the reception to pay at 2.00 am as they said I could not pay at check out (10€). Additionally, my friend was feeling sick in the night and went to the receptionist who asked her to pay the bottled water from the fridge instead of focusing on her feeling sick.

Excellent location tram stop right in front of the hotel

The rooms had many different configurations. We stayed in one that was very interesting and fairly large. Our friends stayed in one that was not so large.

The location was perfect, there is tram take you from the door of the hotel direct to the central station and Dam square, the place is quite clean and save , I told him it’s my honeymoon and the made decoration for my room with free charge , it’s made me happy

Fantastic location at a tram stop which leads to Central Station and the city center. Trip to station is less than 20 minutes. Staff friendly. Hotel clean. Neighborhood safe.

Daily maid service included but by the end of my 7 night stay I had depleted all the body wash and shampoo. Disappointed these basics were not attended to. Even so I would consider staying here again. I could have asked for some attention on that problem.

    Location was good

Lack of space in rooms, failure to make the bed, bathroom literally in bedroom with a glass door.
