Comfortable bed and a working elevator

Very tight. Small elevator, steep stairs, a shower so small you have to open the door to turn around. Quite a walk to dining choices

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Linden hotel. It was a perfect location to explore the city. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The family room was cozy and perfect for our family of 4.

Our room stunk strongly of urine and was damp throughout the stay despite adjusting the cooling system

Bed was slightly small and firm but that?s personal preference.

Staff were great! Went the extra mile to make us feel welcome, and had good advice for local restaurants and attractions.

Other guests in the hotel were slamming their doors late at night and this sound carried because the hotel is very small. I want to make it clear that this is in no way the fault of the hotel staff.

The location. Jordaan is quaint and fairly quiet, and very walkable. Small, local, restaurants of all types were close by. We were allowed to stash our bags prior to checking in, which was great.

The shower was so tiny, my elbows would hit the glass walls when I reached up to wash my hair. The drain for the shower was in the middle of the room so the floor was wet when I got out of the shower.

Friendly accommodating staff and location

Would prefer a softer comfy bed. And suit case stands would be nice. We are in our 70?s and having the suitcase on the floor is difficult

Staff were helpful and friendly, location was great for dining and exploring. We were close to public transportation but just outside of the busiest tourist area. Loved the hotel's charming complimentary afternoon pastries. I would stay here again!

The street was a little noisy, late at night with drunk partiers, early in the morning with trash and recycling collection. Earplugs helped!

The location was great. The staff was very friendly.

The shower would keep the bathroom floor wet, so I would use additional towels as bath mat. The shower size/bathroom is small, but that is part of living like the 'natives'.

Not accessible for people who can not climb stairs. They did have a service lift for luggage to get to upper floors. Stairs are not normal, old building.

The location in a quiet but central area was a big plus. The reception staff was very good,  who was particularly helpful and enthusiastic

The room was tiny, no exaggeration, and not worth what we paid for that reason

The location was perfect. So easy to walk or take the tram to everything. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

The shower design was a bit funky and the bathroom floor got quite wet each time we took a shower. Room was a bit basic for the price, but it was worth it for the neighborhood.

Nice view of the canal from our window. Easy walk to the center of Amsterdam and train station.

No complaints!

The location was very quiet and quaint. The staff were so lovely. Very friendly and helpful. We even got a little Easter present, as much lovely free coffee as you wished for and a goodie bag when we departed. I would definitely stay here again.

If I had to find a fault it would be the position of the sink, just makes spitting out your toothpaste a little tricky and trying not to bang your head on the shelve.
