This 4-star Superior hotel features a top-floor sauna and fitness area, and air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. It stands in Berlin's Mitte district, a 15-minute walk from Alexanderplatz. The rooms at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Berlin Alexanderplatz feature large windows and bright décor. Each room has hot drinks facilities and a flat-screen TV with Sky channels. A buffet breakfast and Mediterranean cuisine is served in the Vitruv restaurant. Tram and bus services stop directly outside the Leonardo. The pretty Volkspark Friedrichshain Park is a few steps away.

- Overall, the hotel is very nice and the staff was very friendly.
- Situated a 3 minute walk to the m4 tram connected to all trains and Berlin Mitte in a matter of minutes. The bar was cool and the hotel was super comfortable.
- Closeness to public transportation stops.
Cons -
- The bed and comforter were very warm and soft, it felt like I was in a toasted marshmallow. I opened all the windows and still could not get cool. This may be due to the fact, I like a firm bed and pillow.
- Dirt/ sand on the floors of the room and hallway.
- Cont.: Had to collect all my belongings in the pitch darkness & move rooms. All the concierge gave me for my trouble was a bar voucher, but when I tried to use the voucher, the bar said it wasn't valid for the type of drink I ordered. Avoid.
